    INTRODUCTION

    Alternative Leaming System (ALS) opens up opportunity for OSY's and adult
    to develop, enhance and strengthen their talents and skills to become productive
    citizens in the future. One major mining ground is the Functional Literacy which is
    intended for secondary dropouts, leavers.
    ALS plays an important role in promoting aducation for school leavers. It is
    not only the venue to enhance the education of our youths but also provides a venue
    for shaping-up their personalities who in the future will be of great help to the
    community.
    The foregoing reports covers the 2 nd Quarter. This include activities
    undertaken and the output as a result of the implementation of Alternative Learning
    System ( ALS) programs and projects had been implemented in Brgy. Oogong and
    Jasaan, Santa Cruz, Laguna through the coordination of the District ALS coordinator.
