ACCOMPLISHMEN
T REPORT
S.Y. 2022-2023
INTRODUCTION

The National Children’s Month for calendar year 2022 was celebrated
on November 29 pursuant to Republic Act 10661. It commemorates the
adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on 20
November 1989. Under section 3 of the law, the CWC, National Youth
Commission, and the Department of Social Welfare Development were
designated as the lead agencies for the conduct of the celebration. With the
theme “Kalusugan, Kaisipan at Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata Ating
Tutukan”, this month-long celebration for today’s generation aims to raise
awareness on children’s rights and the significance of the implementation
of laws to protect and care for their well-being.

OBJECTIVE

This celebration aims to instill in the Filipino consciousness to realize

children’s rights as individuals – to have the access to healthcare,
education, and a healthy environment.
ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN

On 29 November 2022, Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of

Aleosan conducted a culmination activity in coordination with Department
of Social Work and Development (DSWD) through a symposium about
Children’s Rights and subsequently a program that showcased children’s
talents through the following:

1. Nutri Jingle Contest for Elementary

2. Tugsayawit for High School

3. Poster Slogan Contest (Elementary and High School)

4. Solo singing contest (Elementary and High School)

These activities were participated by the different elementary and

secondary public schools in the Municipality of Aleosan of which Tubak
Elementary School mainly focused on participating in the Poster Slogan
Contest.

Tubak ES attained second place in the said contest and received

Three Hundred Pesos (300 Php) cash prize.

IMPACT TO THE CHILDREN

The active participation of Tubak ES motivated its learners to further

participate in future related activities. This has also made an avenue for
awareness on the rights of its students as part of today’s young generation.
RECOMMENDATIONS

With the success of the conduct of the activities, it is recommended

that Tubak ES shall continue to take part of these endeavors to aid its
learners in understanding their rights and provide opportunities to
showcase their talents.

Further, the School should also consider fund support for the School’s
representatives (coach and learners) to sustain active participation to these
type of outside-school activities.
