COMPREHENSIVE UNIVERSITY FOOT WALK GARDEN PROJECT

OF EDUCATION STUDENTS

Introduction

Chapter One is divided into five parts: (1) Background of the Study, (2) Statement

of the Problem and Hypotheses, (3) Significance of the Study, (4) Definition of Terms,

and (5) Delimitation of the Study.

Part One, Background of the Study, presents the introduction to the study which

focuses on the foot walk garden ,

Part Two, Statement of the Problem and Hypotheses, describe the purpose in

conducting the study and enumerates the specific objectives of the research.

Part Three, Scope and Limitations of the Study, identifies the coverage of the

investigation in terms of purpose, variables, subjects, research method/design, research

about the university foot walk garden

Part Four, Significance of the Study, states the benefits that could be derived from

the findings of the study.

Part Five Definition of Terms, lists alphabetically the research terminologies for

purposes of clarity and understanding. (The terms are defined both conceptually and

operationally.)
Background of the Study

Foot walks garden Project of is a great way to establish all of those things and

more bringing schools and communities which beautified altogether. It is a way to build

and create by which it is beautiful and eye catchy environments where learning and

camaraderie is highly enhanced. To put it simplest term think of a student’s walking in on

their first day of school after this global crisis or pandemic. They might become

overwhelm just because of the school beautification which takes place. They are drop off

by tricycle, car or even motorcycle and see the main entrance of the school building

particularly in the Education Department at Capiz State University Dayao Campus. Upon

their arrival they notice a dull and un-kept entrance by seeing those catchy foot walks

design.

Beautiful landscaping and clean facilities is one of the major objectives which the

university will push through not only for students but of course the facilitators. With

these, we aim some right direction by giving them a wondrous place to study, walk in and

grow in. They come into school knowing that they’re worth something because someone

took the time to take care of a place they call home for 8 or more hours of the day. They

might amaze while walking to go along in the department by which they know

themselves that they are the part of the improvement of the institution. To go along with

we encouraging students and staffs to be more involved not only for their day-to-day

obligations or school day performance but for the creativity that they applied and the

efforts that they utilized both individuals, it teaches them on how to be more respectful to

the environment/school or surroundings. University Foot walk garden project of


Education Students spare headed by BEED 1-C has a large contributed skills to plan and

form wherein it takes all over a period of time to pursue.

However as an individual we can offer much more than physical improvements

to the Education Buildings and foot grounds. Through cleaning, painting and by planting

new flowers and ornamental plants by selling and beautifying which we considered as an

income for the fund raising of the said department. The Education learners can easily take

advantage with this project, personal development and community building opportunities

wherein they can improve their social and being an artistically future educator.

It is most reversible project proposal whereas it brings the changes to the physical

surroundings, picking up litter and garbage and even planting flowers will help to create a

clean and attractive learning environment or surroundings. Physical changes within the

school could include adapting the common areas by encouraging the students to decorate

the outside area of their buildings particularly the foot walks. Indeed contributing to the

Local environment, will establish lasting ties not only in the school but in the community

as well.
Objectives of the Study

General:

Generally, this study aims to pursue the Comprehensive University Foot Walk Garden

Project of Education Students S.Y: 2019-2020.

Specific:

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What are the benefits of University Foot Walk Garden Project of Education

Students?

2. Which among these beneficiary is highly affected or benefited in terms of;

a. Student

b. Environment

c. School

3. Is there a significant difference between the student’s creativity and the

beneficiary identified?

Hypothesis of the Study

The hypothesis that will be tested on this study is:

1. There is no significant difference between the student’s creativity and the affected

identified?
Scope and Limitation of the Study

This study aims to pursue the Comprehensive University Foot Walk Garden

Project of Education Students. The descriptive type of research design will be used in this

study. Qualitative research will be the type of research used to gather such information to

understand the ways of gardening in school and designing the foot walks nearby the

CWTS Office.

The subject of this study will be the Education Students about the University Foot Walk

Garden Project of Capiz State University Dayao Satellite College School Year 2019-

2020.

Choosing a foot walk garden site

Location- The project will be located beside the CWTS faculty office.

Water- It is a basic requirement where the plants stay healthy. Since dragging long

lengths of hose to the garden is no fun, our garden should be as close as possible to a

water faucet.
Significance of the Study

The results of the study may be beneficial to the following:

Facilitators. This study would enable them to find ways and means to improve the

students’ abilities and skills providing and encouraging their students to be creative and

passionate when it comes to designing and formulating as one process that would

empower them to pursue an eye catchy foot walks nearby the CWTS office.

Parents. The parents will profit from this study, since it will help them to motivate their

children to recycle any scraps to formulate a wonderful foot walks to bear with something

that could afford by anybody and making their children a creative and talented

individuals when it comes to organizing and designing a customized foot walks made

with scraps.

Students. They are the one who discovered or involved in this study. They are the one

who make some decisions by taking good care in the campus yard and designing through

the collaborative effort by which it is more efficient to discover a customized foot walks

in the Education building.


Future Researchers. This study hopes to impart insights, ideas, and background for future

researchers who will wish to conduct similar studies by making such skills on how to

become a creative individual. Also this will initiate further researches that might add

significant information and collaboration of the knowledge and understanding regarding

the Comprehensive University Foot Walk Garden Project of Education Students

Definition of Terms

In this study the researcher will utilized both operational and conceptual meaning

of the following terms:

Beautification. The action or process of improving the appearance of a person or place

(retrieved from online dictionary.com).

In this study, beautification refers to the improvement and beautifying the foot

walk projects of Education students wherein they put some collaborative efforts to make

this proposal possible.

Environment. The surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or

operates (retrieved from online dictionary.com).

In this study, environment refers to the place where the plants are surrounded on it.
Foot walk. A surface paved or constructed for walking along often with a handrail (as on

a bridge or on a parapet) (retrieved from Merriam Webster’s dictionary.com).

In this study, foot walks refers to proposal which they implemented. It is the basic

flat forms which the students needed to enhanced their skills to design and put some

efforts to pursue with.

Garden. A small piece of ground used to grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, or flowers.

(retrieved from online dictionary.com).

In this study, it refers to the ground by which vegetables, flowers, herbs and other

customized designs in the pot have planting with.

School. A place where children or students go to be educated (retrieved from online

dictionary.com).

In this study, school refers to the place where the students learning process takes

place.
