What is SURVEY?
A survey is a way of collecting data by asking people
questions either through questionnaires or interviews.
What is Data?
Data can be defined as a collection of gathered information.
They include characteristics that can be observed or
measured. We call these characteristics or quantities
variables or data items.
FREQUENCY TABLE
What is a Frequency Table?
Is a list of items being surveyed. It uses tally marks to show the
number of times occur in the survey.
Tally marks are used to organize the data collected. Frequency is the
number of times an item occurs in a survey.
Present an example of a Frequency Table.
1. What is the most favorite flower of the pupils?
Answer: Sun Flower
2. What is the least favorite flower of the pupils?
Answer: Anthurium
3. How many pupils chose rose?
Answer: 4
4. How many pupils like rose and sampaguita?
Answer: 8

they commonly do at home. The table shows the results of the
survey. Construct a horizontal or vertical bar graph using the given
information.
