fob Purpose:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Finance wili undertake all aspects of
financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting,
budget and forecasts preparation, as weli as development of internal control policies and
procedures. He should ensure maximization of return on financial assets by establishing
financial policies, procedures, controis, and reporting systems.

strategic plan.

' Ensure adequate internal controls for effective and efficient budgeting strateg,y,
expenditure, accounting, cash flow and banking
Financial Management
' Ensure working capital management is aligned to the needs of the Company's cash

' Ensure monthly operating expenses is within the budget and also in tandem with
revenue growth
' Manage and implement appropriate stock costing processes and records control.

, Manage Debtors' & Creditor's days as per the company policy
' Monthly provision of insightful analysis of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
' Monthly review of fixed and variable costs with HODs to ensure its within the
budget
' Lead cost efficiency improvement initiatives across the business and ensure
maximization of gross & operating margins on monthly basis
' Review and approve pre & post promotion analysis to guide decision making on
effectiveness of the promotion
Reporting
' Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory returns deadlines e.g. Corporate
LOo/a
Tax, PAYE, VAT and withhoiding taxes
. Handle any tax revenue authority audits and inspections
Peoole Manasement
' Manage the finance team and ensure they meet their targets as per the discussed
individual objectives
' Carry out quarterly performance review using the appraisal tool to monitor
progress and ensure the team meets their set targets within the required
timelines. Provide feedback in order to support the growth both at the individual
and business level
' Provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure maximum productivity at
all times by driving initiatives that contributes to long term operational excellence
' Enhance the Finance's team skills, competencies ,nd capabilities through 2Ao/o
co4ching, mentorship and other learning & development prograrlmes
' Conduct weekly meetings with the team, evaluate performance, take corrective
actions and reward I motivate the best performers with speed and flexibility in
order to constantly improve productivity
