The competent authority has been pleased to release the provisional Selection List in
circle in Group "C" cadre

respect of Direct Recruitment of meritorious Sports Persons in HP
under 5 % reservation meant for Sport Quota notified vide notification No. R&E/77-
8/2021-Sports dated 25-10-2021.

to this memorandum.
Method of provisional selection- Provisional selection of meritorious sports persons has

been made on the basis of proof of sports qualification and educational qualifications
provided by the candidates and in accordance with the instructions contained in Ministry
of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training Office
Memorandum No.14034/01/2013-Estt(D) dated 03-10-2013 as amended from time to
time, further circulated vide Postal Directorate vide endorsement No 14-01/2013-PAP
dated 14-10-2013, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative

issued by Postal Directorate vide letter no 17-07/2017-5PN-ldated 06.01.2021
S. Before entry of the provisionally selected candidates in to the department all the
supporting sports documents i.e. Form -1 to Form -5, alongwith original sports and other
educational qualification certificates/sc/Sc/ST/OBC/EWS/Physically handicapped
certificates shall be got verified from the concerned issuing authorities. The genuineness
and recognition of the Form-1 and other sports documents issuing authority/organisation
will be got done from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Sports
before giving provisional appointment to the candidates included in the selection list.
6. In case if it is found subsequently that any of the selected candidates was not eligible for
selection under the extant rules or instructions on the subject or for any other reason or in
case in any mistake is found with regard to selection of the candidate for any reason
whatsoever, his/her name will be deleted from the list of selected candidate as the case
may be. The selection is also subject to any change in merit list of the selected candidate
due to any unforeseen reason in accordance with the extant rules on the subject. The
present result is further subject to outcome of court/CAT cases, correction of clerical
mistake if any. The candidature of selected candidate is liable to be cancelled if later on it
is found that the false information has been given by the candidate or the candidate was
not eligible due to any criminal case against him/her otherwise. The selection has been
recommended on the basis of information furnished by the candidate.
1. Units/divisions have been provisionally allotted on the basis of merit cum preference
subject to availability of vacancies as identified in ibid mentioned notification. Any
modification in the recommended selection list for any reason, as illustrated in para 6
above would lead to reconsideration of unit/division allotment.
The selection of candidates is purely provisional subject to fulfilment of required

conditions of relevant recruitment rules and verification of genuineness of various
mandatory certificates of the candidates from the issuing authorities and Department of
Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
9. In respect of computer typing knowledge the instructions contained in Ministry of Home

Affairs, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, vide Office Memorandum
No 14015/1/78-Estt (D) dated 28th November 1981, read with OM No.14015/1/76-Estt.(D)
dated 4 Aug.1980 and instructions issued by Department of Posts from time to time will
be observed.
10. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
