1.0 Introduction
This Method Statement outlines methodology and acceptable parameters for ‘Ceiling’ demolition
activity which is being state in WP03-2 DEMOLITION contract.
The detail of this proposal includes type of Plants and Machinery, Sequence/Area of works,
Testing (Quality Control) and Safety.

2.0 Resources

3.0 Proposed Plan

3.1 Receiving

3.1.1 The machineries and plant that are going to enter the site shall be inspected
properly to ensure it is in good condition and safe to use.

3.2 Handling

3.2.1 Engineer/Supervisor need to mark and confirm that the material/utilities//structure to


be demolish with Exyte Malaysia SB’s person in-charge before start the demolition
work.

3.2.2 Supervisor shall closely monitor the workers involved in the works activity and it’s
shall be done in proper manner and comply to all safety requirement.

3.2.3 Proper equipment and accessories shall be used during demolition works activity
shall be inspected to ensure it is in good condition.

3.3 Storage

3.3.1. The material to be re-use and debris from demolition work shall be dumped to the
approved area.

3.3.2. Barricade and put proper barrier ownership tag if necessaries.
