(7}.:a) of Section 5 (O) of the Employees' Provident Fund and Misce!laneous
Provisions Act. 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Board hereby makes the following
rules for regulating the method of recruitment to thepost of Data Entry Operator.

1_ SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT

(I) These rules may be called the Employees' Provident Fund

Orjanisation (Data Entry Operator Grade-C) Recruitment Rules. 2003.

(Il,' They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the
Olucial Gazette.

2. NUMBER OF POSTS. CLASSIFICATION AND SCALE OF PAY

Provided that the Central Board may, if satisfied .that such marriage is
permissible under the Personal Law applicable to such person and the' other
party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing. exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.

5. POWER TO RELAX

Where the Central Board is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient

to do so, it may. by order for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in I

consultation with the Ministry of Labour, relax any of the provisions of these rules
with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. SAVINGS
(
Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of ag8 limit and
other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the
Scheduled Tribes. Ex- Servicemen and other special categories of persons in
