These are the wastes that contribute significantly to the contamination of our life-
giving resources such as air, water, and soil. Waste management comprises the daily or
continuous collection, transportation, processing, disposal, or recycling of various types of
waste material or substances. This method can also save money. The term waste can refer to
a wide range of wasted items such as food, leaves, newspapers, industrial detritus, bottles,
radioactive materials, and so on. One of the fundamental goals of waste management is to
safeguard people and the environment from the detrimental impacts of trash. Who is
responsible for garbage management? Individuals, businesses, industries, medical
authorities, and agricultural landowners or farmers must all make decisions and accept some
responsibility for their own trash and garbage. All governmental and municipal authorities or
groups, in general, enforce waste management policies and processes. The main goal of
waste management will be proper and planned trash disposal, transferring wastes to regions
where they will not produce any detrimental consequences, or destroying wastes in a method
that will not cause any negative outcomes. Removing rubbish from public places helps to
reduce the threats to our health and the environment. It reduces exposure to biohazards, bug
infestation, and contamination of drinking water. It lowers the prevalence of diseases such as
heart and respiratory failure, as well as allergies. The main waste management mantra can
be Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We can also be responsible at home by recycling items such
as glass, paper, plastic, tin, and so on. It aids in the maintenance of the ecosystem's right
equilibrium. As a result, we may be obedient and responsible citizens of our country.
We must concentrate on our negative habits, which can produce toxic substances
or particles and cause significant harm to our environment, climate, and ecology. It is our
responsibility to educate and raise awareness in our society about the benefits of effective
and scientific waste management through numerous seminars, campaigns, and cultural
events. In this manner, we can benefit both the environment and the younger generation.
