The current style of crown withiin the badge of the british commonwealth defense and police force
is commonly referred to as the queen crown and based on the sovereign st edward crown. The
placement of the crown in military badges, upon which police badges are badges are based dates
back to 1751.

The commonwealth star (also known as the federation star, the seven point or the star of federation
is a seven pointed star symbolizing the federation of Australia which came into force on January

The wreth represnts victory. In roman times a victory, be it in battle or in sport( e,g chariot racing)

The new south wales police force academy is a restricted site and is situated on 40 hectares of land
in the city of Goulburn in the southern tablelands of NSW, Australia.
