CORE SUBJECT DESCRIPTION: At the end of the course, the students must know how to find the mean and variance of a random variable, to apply sampling
techniques and distributions, to estimate population mean and proportion, to perform hypothesis testing on population mean and proportion, and to perform
correlation and regression analysis on real-life problems.
CULMINATING PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner is able to find the mean and variance of a probability distribution, estimate the population mean and
population proportion perform appropriate tests of hypothesis of the population mean and proportion to make sound inferences in real-life problems in different
disciplines.

FINAL PERFORMANCE TASK:


Goal: This study aims to inform and educate the positive and negative effects of social media to the students.
Role: The School Guidance Councillor and Principal are in need of a researcher to study the effects of social media to the students in their studies.
Audience: Teacher, classmates, family members, barangay constituents
Situation: The School Guidance Councillor and Principal are in need of a researcher to study the effects of social media to the students in their studies.
