    IMPORTANCE OF WATER

    ‘ELIXIR OF LIFE’, Water its name,


    Existence on this heavenly planet is water’s bane.
    The scent of petrichor triggered an epiphany,
    The lake water lapping and burbling stream is now an unheard symphony.
    Quenching the thirst of regions dryer,
    Reflecting the beauty of sunset which ignites fire.

    Importance of water is indeed ineffable,


    This benefaction by thy is truly impeccable
    Oblivious to the thought of water depletion,
    We recklessly squander this nature’s creation.
    Drink, wash, splash and sprinkle,
    Flowing through the night sky with glisten and twinkle.

    We all must follow the rules of water conservation


    For it is crucial for all wordly species' preservation,
    It may be colorless but has a scintillating nature,
    Oh! How tall it stands with its paramount stature
    What would be of us if water was to vanish,
    Life on this earth would simply perish.

    Yet we don't seem to understand water is depleting perpetually


    We maybe an enervate land eventually,
    Even as we speak,
    The rates of depletion may be touching the peaks.
    Let's all join hands in hands to save water,
    And protect the world for our future sons and daughter.
