My name is Abdelrahman Mamoun, graduated from Sadat Academy for Management Sciences
in 2009, and my major was finance.
Right after graduation, I joined Halawa garments as an assistant export manager, and I was
responsible for handling key clients in Europe and USA, It was interesting however it was short
due to the revolution in 20 11 .
Then I moved to Xceed contact center as an international customer service representative, and
have worked there for 1 year.
Then I joined TNT express as a Shipping and customer service advisor and stayed there for 1 year
as well.
Finally, I moved to EBI in 2014 till now, counted 8 years of experience in the learning and
development field.
I have held different roles within EBI, I started my journey in the banking and finance
department handling different types of programs and certificates with unlimited involvement in
all the learning processes specially DDIE.
I have built up and maintained good relations with a wide network of subject matter experts in
the banking field.
My role in the training is starting from the client request with the main responsibility which is
maintaining the business relation, through pricing and writing proposals, design and
development, implementation, and evaluation of the training as well as observing and feedback
the instructors
Also..
In Banking and finance, I was fully responsible for planned programs that have a huge volume,
nearly 200 – 300 training programs a year, and then responsible for the credit certificate.
I was assigned to marketing and increase the volume of a strategic certificate called Principles of
Banking certificate, which was funded by the CBE, and was a success story made out of it.
Achievements:
I doubled the # of certificates implemented per year, which was a good image in front of CBE,
and they have decided to continue the project and increase the fund.
When that happened, I suggested a redesign and some development of the certificate.
Then I was assigned to handle part of sensitive clients/programs such as the Egyptian presidency
training plan, branch managers…etc.
Milestone/achievements of credit certificate: leading the transformation from paper exams to
electronic. Also purchasing a new certificate of NYIF.
Participated in the digital transformation workshops that led to a huge change within EBI.
Was chosen among 8 persons to reengineer all the processes and procedures in EBI
restructuring of the training departments, and participated in setting the SOP for the execution
department.

then handled plan programs + all IT deps + special announcements with a headcount of 6.
Then acting as an assistant department manager from time to time, in addition to Monitoring all
the training activities within EBI which may count a 1200 – 1500 per month, to stand on the
failures and direct the TL to solve them as needed.
Responsible for allocating resources of the department and assigning colleagues on the shifts on
a weekly basis.
I’m also responsible of revising and approving all the financial activities, when I join this part, I
have worked with the IT/Finance deps to generate reports that enable us to track and follow up
on all the financial activities.
I always follow some steps while doing that, to ensure transferring the knowledge an experience
First Communicate : clearly as needed, explain the tasks and the expected result, support in how
to be done, and encourage them to ask the team member I trust, or ask the team member to
help as needed, follow up and explain it.
What do you expect from a manager?
Achievements :
I have eight years of experience in the training field and I have a deep
understanding of its process and how to make any training more
effective and engaging.
I have succeeded in each task I was assigned to, and I always take a
step forward and seek to change and improve anything I work in.

High sense of ownership, Working at the moment on increasing the revenue of the plan,
however its not mine, but it will reflect on the ebi revenue.so its also my responsibility.
Lead a change in the L&D after understanding the bank objectives and training needs.
Enhance the quality of the training by getting involved in the design and development and
evaluation
What are you looking for in your next job? What is important
to you?
Understanding the whole process of the learning and development and see the whole picture
from the other side.
I’m analytical person and would like very much to work in places where I can benefit and use
this skill.
11. What do you find are the most difficult decisions to make?
When the director asks me about general performance of my team, I always trying being honest
but always answers that.
12. What was most and least rewarding about your last
position?
was the opportunity I was given to train new hires. They were always
eager to succeed as a fresh blood, and it was great to contribute to their
progress.
One of my team was working alone, to win him I started to gave him few tasks solo.
Then I start slowly encourage him to envlove with team, under my supervision.
Give trust positive motivate, explain the strength points and share it, that will
sound in both ways: motivating others encouraging the person who made it.
