A presentation for LM-1030 students


THE PARTS OF SPEECH

• Each part of speech explains how the word is


used.
• The difference between one part of speech an
another is the role the word is performing.

Books are made of paper, and glue.


"books" is a noun, the subject of the sentence

Nouns and Pronouns
NOUNS PRONOUNS

They are words that modify (say

Prepositions
