Self- Discipline

"A key to a better life is to discipline yourself first."

Self-discipline means the ability to stay in control, stay away from distractions, and resist temptation,
which gives you inner strength and a way to control yourself, your behavior, and your reaction.

Self-discipline is used to control your words, actions, behavior, and emotions. You can't just be
insensitive to others because you don't know how much it hurts the people who receive the judgment.
Words can be controlled by just thinking before speaking. As they said, "Think twice before you speak."
Words that come out of your mouth need to be careful about who you speak to. Be careful what words
come out of your mouth. discipline the words. Action: You can't just be abusive and slap others; you also
need to be calm when you're mad. Your actions need to be careful and calm. Behavior shows control of
our emotions and portrays ourselves; other people base what they see in you on your behavior, so you
must have discipline. And also, you need to know your weaknesses and strengths and avoid other bad
habits and wrongdoing that might lead you to become like them. Discipline is to become a better
person, not just to your family and friends but to everyone. We need this in our lives to know what we
will do to avoid hurting people.

Avoiding things and a person that you think will be toxic to yourself requires distance. When you want
to change your habits, then change them. I know that it is hard because sometimes we can't avoid
temptation. Manage your time, set a goal, and then try to make it happen because that is the first step
to improving. And also, try to read books that might help you control yourself. Learn to say "no." You
can't force yourself on other people that you don't know secretly don't like you or on things that you
know you can't do, so stop gaslighting yourself. Stop pressuring yourself; you are not perfect at all, and
neither am I. There are some things that you can't do, but other people can. We aren't the same; we
aren't talented.

Each one of us can control ourselves; we just need to pay attention to it. We know that it isn't easy for
us to leave the habits that can make us happy, but there are some things that "habits" can do that are
harmful or toxic to us, so we need to discipline ourselves. We may not be perfect, but we can be the
best by improving ourselves in the things that will make us happy. Motivation is the key to making that
goal possible.

 
Self-discipline is making a change to your habits that you think will be bad for your mental and
emotional health. Self-discipline is to improve and control the things that you want to achieve the
results that you want. In reading these, we have a lot of realizations and thoughts. Many of us are
struggling to discipline ourselves because sometimes we can't control our emotions, so we say things
that aren't supposed to be said. We hurt people because we can't control it, but by making
improvements, we will learn how to be sensitive and control it.
