SIMPLIFIED DECLARATION
Simplified declaration
2
Did you put less than 500,000 consumer sales units (CSUs) on the French market in 2022?
Then you can benefit from this simplified declaration.
Simplified
To determine whether you put less than 500,000 CSUs on the market per year, you need to count all of the CSUs
for household use put on the French market for the year in question.
Shipping packaging
Shipping packaging is not to be taken into account regarding eligibility for the simplified declaration in terms
of the number of CSUs unless your activity is limited solely to shipping packaging (for example: shipment of
goods in your shipping parcels that do not fall under the scope of your declaration because they have already
been declared by another entity).
Samples
Samples are not counted in the 500,000 CSU eligibility threshold. However, they are household packaging to
be declared to calculate your contribution.
For example, if you put 400,000 perfumes and 200,000 perfume samples on the market, you remain eligible
for the sector-specific declaration. You must declare 600,000 Consumer Units (CUs).
Please note
