    Dear Dr. Sabornido:

    Blissful MUSIKAHAN Greetings!

    Our spirits run high as we welcome you to the City of Tagum which, shall once again
    transform into a Living Arena of artistic expressions with the holding of the 20th
    MUSIKAHAN SA TAGUM FESTIVAL slated on February 16-19, 2023.

    The music festival as a noteworthy celebration of the National Arts Month in the
    country, espouses the theme “Truly Tagum, Inspirational City in Harmony”
    envisions to bring together music artists, choral groups, string ensembles and
    contemporary show bands from all over the country, who shall advance “the immense
    power of music to unite people, spread love and bring peace in the world!”

    This letter signifies our intention to INVITE your Choir Group to Join in the following
    Music Competitions which are featured in the festival, to wit:

    1. HIMIG HANDOG CHORAL COMPETITION (Youth, Open/Mixed Choir Category)


    2. HIMIG HANDOG QUARTET/QUINTET COMPETITION
    The multi-cultural peoples of Tagum City and of Mindanao would be greatly honored to
    host the performances of the creative music artists coming from school, which can
    surely connect the culturally diverse peoples in Mindanao to beautiful feelings of love,
    fullness, wholeness, and unity through their music.

    Further, our City can provide a free school-based accommodation of the delegates
    during their stay in the music festival. Attached is our Project Brief, Competition
    Guidelines and Official Entry Registration Form for your kind perusal and attention.

    We hope that our cultural action program can merit your favorable approval on our
    request for the Bayugan City Educators’ Chorale to participate in the Musikahan Sa
    Tagum Festival 2023 Events that celebrate artistic excellence, pay tribute to the
    uniqueness and diversity of the Filipino heritage and culture and spread the message of
    harmony, wholeness and unity of the Filipinos through this festival.
