    I. Organization moment.
    Good morning, children! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition
    called “Funny English”. 3 teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the
    cleverest.
     It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1 st team? What`s the name of your
    team? Who is the captain of the 2d team? What`s the name of your team? Who is the captain of
    the 3 rd team? What’s the name of your team?
    Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. As there is no
    computer in the classroom, I have invited a competent jury to count the points. The member of
    our juries are:

    So let`s start our competition.
    II. Contests
    Contest 1
    “Cut-away”
    T: Tell us about yourself, please. Who are your captains? What are your slogans? You will get 1
    point for the best answer

    Captain’s contest
    “An interview”
    T: Children, you must answer some questions quickly and right. You will get 1 point for every
    right answer.

     Where do you live?
     What is your hobby?

    T: First you should listen the descriptions of animals. Then  you must think whom there about.
    Then choose from the collection of pictures and show me as soon as you can.  You will get 1
    point for every right answer. 
    1. Model: It is a small animal. It likes fish. (a cat)
    2. It is orange. It is not big. It can run. It is very cunning. (a fox)
    3. This animal lives at home or in the street. It is a man’s friend. (a dog)
    4. It is green. It can swim and run. It can’t climb and jump. (a crocodile)
    5. It big and strong. It’s grey. It likes to help his friends. It lives in Africa.(an elephant)
    6. It’s clever. It can jump and climb. It lives in a tree. It’s very funny. (a monkey)
    7. I have four legs, but I can’t walk.    (a chair)
    8. I’m tall and green, I’m in the garden  (a tree)
