(CONTINUATION of module 11) Nail Care, once considered as a luxury for the few or as a mark of distinction
between the rich and the poor, is now within the reach of the general public. In fact, part of a person’s
grooming and a form of inexpensive relaxation is a regular nail care activity – be it manicure, pedicure, hand
spa or foot spa.
The following shows the proper way of holding and handling some nail care tools or implements and
equipment.
Learning to use tools and equipment properly assures you that you will give your client a nail care service
safely. You should carefully follow these tips if you want to achieve quality service all the time.
Personal Protective Equipment are the garments designed to protect the wearer’s body from injury or
chemicals or for job-related occupational safety and health purposes.
