ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. BASIC INFORMATION
II. RATIONALE
Lifesaving first aid interventions require advance instructions and practical training. To ensure
the health and safety among other people, the Philippine Red Cross effectively carries out their offered
services by offering training such as a Four-day occupational first aid course.
Standard first aid training provides participants with the skills and knowledge to be able to
establish, maintain, and facilitate the provision of first aid. Thus, SKSU nurses, clinic –in-charge and
Campus DRR Designate needs to undergo intensive refresher training from organizations specializing
in the provision of first aid to provide effective initial care during illness and injury within and outside
SKSU campuses.
Furthermore, this activity is following Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) guidelines, ISO,
and Accreditation requirements.
III. OBJECTIVES
To provide new knowledge and refresh health providers of SKSU with information, practical skills,
and understanding required to provide and apply first aid in the workplace.
The Following are the expected outcomes after the 4 days activity:
1. To gain knowledge and skills on Standard First Aid
2. Nurses, Clinic in-charge, and Campus Disaster and Risk Designate 100% certified first
aiders
V. METHODOLOGY
The activity will be attended by Four (4) School Nurses, Five (5) Clinic in-charge, and Seven
(7) Campus Disaster and Risk Designate and will be facilitated by Four (4) Philippine Red Cross-
Sultan Kudarat Chapter staff, with a total of Twenty (20) persons.
The said activity will be conducted at the Magsasaka Training Center, ACCESS, EJC
Montilla, Tacurong City. The capacity of the venue is for maximum of 70 participants.
Strict adherence to minimum health standards and guidelines in the conduct of mass
gathering/ activity by the University Health Response Team in line with Department of Health
protocols shall be observed.
The participants are expected to participate actively in Four (4) Days activity scheduled on April
12-15, 2021.
We will evaluate based on the preparation of the said activity and the feedback report to be
submitted by the Committee.
