PLANNED CLINICAL EXPERIENCE FOR LEVEL IV NURSING STUDENTS IN THE EMERGENCY


ROOM ALLIED CARE EXPERTS MEDICAL CENTER – BOHOL
TAGBILARAN CITY

PLACEMENT: Second Semester, S.Y 2022 – 2023

DAYS: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

TIME: PM Shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

DESCRIPTION: This is a planned clinical experience for the Level IV students assigned in the Emergency Room for the application of concepts,
principles and skills necessary for the students to function interdependently with the health team through actual nursing care of the
assigned patients in this particular area.

LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of three weeks of clinical exposure in the Emergency Room, the Level IV student nurses are expected to
acquire sufficient knowledge, concepts, skills, and attitudes necessary for the application in dealing with emergent situations through the critical
utilization of the nursing process. Moreover, student nurses are expected to perform competently, and confidently the skills needed to apply through
various exposures to emergency cases and will be able to accurately and thoroughly document and report up-to-date client care.
