But before we proceed with Fine Arts, let us first talk about Visual Arts.

Visual arts refer to a broad range of creative expressions that are primarily visual in nature, such
as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and digital art. These art forms are
often created to communicate an idea, emotion, or message to the viewer, and are appreciated for
their aesthetic qualities and cultural significance.

Visual art is a type of art that is mainly based on things that can be seen. These forms of art are
usually created to express an idea, emotion or message to the viewer, and are appreciated for their
beauty and cultural importance.

Fine arts are a category of creative and aesthetic expressions that include painting, sculpture,
drawing, printmaking, photography, and other forms of visual media. Fine arts are often
distinguished from applied arts, which are created with a practical purpose in mind, such as
interior design, fashion, or industrial design.

Fine arts are created for one’s own sake, rather than for a specific function or use, and that they are
meant to evoke emotions, communicate ideas, and engage the viewer in a personal and meaningful
way.
What you did earlier, what you draw was an example of a fine art. You evoked an emotion, you
communicated an idea, and you engaged me, us, everyone in this room with your art.
You draw it not for a specific function or use, you did it… for self-expression. That is Fine Art

Fine artists often work with various materials and techniques to create their art, and may be
inspired by a wide range of sources, including nature, personal experiences, cultural traditions,
and current events.

Just like earlier, I manipulated the current event by playing that audio, and with that audio playing in the
background, you were inspired and was able to produce a piece of fine art

Fine arts have been a part of human culture for thousands of years and have played an important
role in shaping societies and cultural values. They continue to be a vital form of self-expression
and cultural reflection in the modern world, and can be found in museums, galleries, and public
spaces around the world.
Art is not a thing; it is a way

Just like the last lesson, we talked about the definition of art. and one of them was “Art is not a thing; it is a
way” by Hubbard who is a writer. When you see arts in museums or public spaces. Most of the time, its about
the process of the art that gives it its worth and not the final product. You can even see some simple paintings or
art that you could replicate if you want. But again, sometimes or most of the times, it is not always on the
practicality of the product, but rather on the process and effort that went into creating it.

In conclusion, fine arts are a rich and diverse field of creative expression that offer a window into
the human experience and help us to understand our world and ourselves.
