Scope : Method Statement for Application of Emulsion
containing rubber bitominous Coating for concrete
Igasol Liquid®.
2. Surface preparation:
The good surface preparation is the base for Sika materials success.
Exposed Concrete without existing coating :
o The substrate must be clean, dry and free from all traces of loose particles,
laitance, oil, grease.
o Concrete Substrate: Should be dry, clean and free from loose particles.
o Suitable preparation methods are steam cleaning. High pressure water
jetting or blast cleaning.
3. Mixing:
Sika Igasol Liquid® is supplied ready for use .Stir thoroughly prior to
application.

Igasol Liquid ® doesn’t require any special curing but must be protected from rain
for at least 4 hour at +20°C.
Full curing 3 days.
