    A RESOLUTION RE-ADOPTING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 110371 ENTITLED “AN ACT


    INSTITUTIONALIZING A NATIONAL FEEDING PROGRAM FOR UNDERNOURISHED
    CHILDREN IN PUBLIC DAY CARE, KINDERGARTEN AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS TO
    COMBAT HUNGER AND UNDERNUTRITION AMONG FILIPINO CHILDREN AND
    APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE.

    WHEREAS, The State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and shall promote and
    protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being;

    WHEREAS, in recognition of the demonstrated relationship between food and nutrition, and capacity of
    students to develop and learn, the State shall establish a comprehensive national feeding program that will
    address the problem of under nutrition among Filipino children;

    NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, in consideration of the above


    premises, we Barangay 08 Council hereby re- adopt Republic Act No. 110371 “ An act institutionalizing a
    National Feeding Program for Undernourished Children in Public Day Care, Kindergarten and Elementary
    Schools to combat hunger and under nutrition among Filipino children and appropriating funds therefor” as per
    attached.

    Adopted unanimously, this 19th day of September 2022
