COVID-19 Tertiary Bursary application is APPROVED, to study at College of Africa. You’ll be
able to pursue your studies with us, either as a National Diploma under graduate student or Matric
Rewrite student until you complete your studies. The bursary fee will be paid directly to College of
Africa until you graduate. The bursary covers your tuition course fees i.e.(Application fee, Admin
fee, tuition course deposit, Course fees, e-Books, Exam fee and on campus practicals fee)

Registration fee, food, stationery & accommodation costs. NB!! It’s COMPULSORY to stay
inside campus residence. A Student chooses a residence & the monthly rent is paid by you.

- Your bags, as you coming for good, certi ed copies of matric results, ID & proof of home addres
- Bring along this Bursary approval letter & make sure you print it out (VERY IMPORTANT)
- For Senior Matric studies bring any old report if you 21yrs or above & don’t have matric

NB ‼ NONE NEGOTIABLE PAYMENTS YOU MUST PAY ON THE DAY OF REGISTRATION

1. Registration fee R999 (A once off & non refundable payment paid once every semester)
2. Room deposit payment (depends on the type of residence you have chosen) it’s paid once off
yearly and the payment is non refundable
3. First month Rent payment as you will be staying inside one of our inside campus residences

1. DIAMOND RESIDENCE - STUDY FULL TIME For a Student that want a Huge size SINGLE
room that’s fully furnished. The room comes with: (A Fridge, microwave, 3/4 bed, bedding with
pillow covers, Standard & Continental Pillows, Mat, Study Table, Chair, Bin) a sharing kitchen
with gas stoves and a sharing bathroom with showers & toilets) Water & Electricity is paid by
the bursary. Non Refundable Room deposit is R1999 once off yearly & Rent is R1999 pm
Two sharing, each student pays a full Room deposit of R1999 & monthly Rental of R1399pm

2. PLATINUM RESIDENCE - STUDY FULL TIME - For a Student that want a Huge size SHARING
room that’s fully furnished. The room comes with: (3/4 bed with bedding, pillow covers,
Standard & Continental Pillows, Mat, Study Table, Chair, Bin ) included is a Private Reception ,
a sharing kitchen with gas stoves and a sharing bathroom with showers & toilets) Electricity
and Water is paid by the bursary. Non Refundable Room deposit is R1799 once off yearly &
Rent is R1799 pm per month per person

3. GOLD RESIDENCE - STUDY FULL TIME For a Student that want The Medium size SINGLE
room that has very little furniture. The room comes with: (A Single steel bed with mattress, Study
Table, Chair) included is a sharing kitchen with gas stoves and a sharing bathroom with showers &
toilets) Electricity and Water is paid by the bursary. Non Refundable Room deposit is R1599 paid
once off per semester and Rent is R1599 pm per month per person
Two sharing each student pays a full Room deposit of R1599 & monthly Rental of R999 pm

4. SILVER RESIDENCE - STUDY FULL TIME For a Student that want The Smallest size SINGLE
room that has very little furniture. The room comes with: (A Single steel bed with mattress, Study
Table, Chair) included is a sharing kitchen with gas stoves and a sharing bathroom with showers &
toilets) Electricity and Water is paid by the bursary. Non Refundable Room deposit is R1399 paid
once off yearly & Rent is R1399 pm per person. CoA doesn’t recommend sharing as this room is
TOO SMALL for 2 people to share. If you decide to share, it’s at your own will. Two sharing, each
student pays a full Room deposit of R1399 each & a monthly Rental of R799 pm

5. COPPER OFF CAMPUS - STUDY FULL TIME For Students only BORN at the Gakama village,
where our campus is situated. An option designed to bene t students BORN & raised from this
community ONLY. Proof of land payment from Moshate is required. DO NOT bring proof of
address. Bursary pays 90% Tuition fees & the remaining 10% is paid by you, that’s R899 pm

6. BRONZE ONLINE - STUDY ONLINE For Employeed Adults 30 yrs & above and home-based
mothers taking care of a new born baby. As Proof please bring the following documents:

Tuition fees & you pay the remaining 20% yourself, Which is R799 pm (monthly)

ADDITIONAL FUNDING MADE POSSIBLE FOR ALL COLLEGE OF AFRICA STUDENTS

College of Africa is fully aware the Covid-19 Tertiary bursary doesn’t cover all costs hence we’ve
made it our responsibility to get additional funding assistance & partnership from the governments
largest educational study loan funder called FUNDI. Fundi has fully committed themselves in
offering study loans to all qualifying COA students that wish to apply for additional funds. The study
loan covers outstanding tuition fees, registration fee, laptop, smart cell phone, tablet, study
equipments, textbook, accommodation inside campus only, uniforms & stationery. We also

Bursary Terms and conditions

De-registration before graduation, will mean the student pays the bursary back in full, unless it’s a
death or God-forbidden related case. Failure to sign this letter, will automatically result in us giving
the bursary to the next deserving student. ALL PAYMENTS MADE ARE NONE REFUNDABLE
