1.1 Purpose

This standard describes the mandatory trademark requirements for all components and assemblies

developed by FCA Product Development installed on FCA motor vehicles as original equipment,

the component meets FCA quality control standards and that the part is “GENUINE”. Trademark

identification must be used according to the Mopar Trademark Expansion Program Agreement between
FCA Italy S.p.A. and FCA.

a designation. Parts cannot be released without this standard.

5.3.1 Mopar Brand Mark (Mopar Omega M with Mopar Logotype and Registration Mark)

The Mopar brand mark (Mopar Omega M with Mopar logotype and registration mark - Figure 1) shall be
installed on all original equipment and replacement/service parts, unless one of the exceptions in Table 5

applies, or it is an image trademark characterizing component e.g. key cover, hub caps, airbag cover,
floor mats. The angular dimensions for creating the “Omega M” are shown in Figure 2 and the proportions

proportionate according to dimensions shown in Figure 4. Any deviation in size must be verified by the

The Brand Registered Trademark should be applied to parts listed in Annex A. It is not a requirement to
apply the Mopar logo on parts which already have a Product Brand Trademark because the Brand
