    New Children’s Graphic Novel Book signing at The Book Loft

    Bookstore

    Vahid Imani, is to hold book signing for “Naji and the mystery of the dig, the
    Graphic Novel” just in time for spring break reading.

    The Graphic Novel is based on his award-winning middle graders chapter book with the
    same title. To celebrate the graphic novel’s debut, Vahid Imani will be holding a book
    signing at the Book Loft bookstore in Solvang on Saturday, March 4, from 2:00pm –
    4:00pm.

    Based on a true story, this graphic novel takes the reader on a suspense-filled exploration
    of Persian culture as Naji learns that sometimes, the best adventures are waiting right
    under your nose. Unlike a typical graphic novel, Naji and the mystery of the dig includes
    a list of study projects, and discussion questions that will encourage the readers to
    explore.

    “It was thrilling to hear so many children who have read the book, asking for a graphic
    novel version. After two years of development, I am excited to have this graphic novel
    available. The story helps children enjoy moments of commonality between different
    cultures. Love, fear, laughter, honor, respect, and even enjoying delicious food are just a
    few common factors that relate us humans to each other,” says Imani. “Our world
    becomes more peaceful when we all experience joy together. Naji and the mystery of the
    dig is a small step toward a much larger leap that we humans need to take.”

    Vahid Imani is an alumna of Gonzaga University’s graduate business school and a co-
    owner and educator at Song In My Heart Studio in Solvang. Imani’s articles and opinions
