State Street is an Investment Management Company. My project was with the Collateral Management
team.

Roles & Responsibilities:


APAC CMO project: This particular project deals with creating a new Collateral Management Office for
their Asia Pacific (APAC) accounts.
 Collecting Business and Functional Specifications in the form of ASRD and FSD by interacting with
Business Users, analyzing Stored Procedures and Database tables and analyzing CUP GUI.
 Analyzing all the accounts in scope for the new APAC CMO and the products traded on those
accounts and the volume of those trades.
 Explaining the Business requirements to the developers and helping them analyze JAVA codes and
UNIX scripts to identify any changes required due to introduction of new CMO.
 Working as Project Manager and responsible for keeping project on schedule and preparing Project
scorecard every week.

Matured Swap unsettled amount project: This project deals with populating unsettled amount values
for Matured Swaps in GEM SWAP report.

 Identifying all the relevant SWAP positions by finding SWAP cusips with Maturity dates before
current date and settlement date after current date.
 Calculating Market values for these cusips by using the Net Quantity from TRN table, Cusip Price
from PRH table and Price denominator from TAPS table.
 Inserting these Market values in place of unsettled amounts for the matured SWAP cusips by
creating a full Insert statement with all other fields from GEM SWAP report and then adding this
statement in GEM SWAP stored procedure.

called ACE which stands for Automated Compliance Engine and is a part of Capital Market Compliance
group. ACE is responsible for creating and automating trade compliance rules and providing
infrastructure for several applications like Surface, Strata etc. Trades related to all kinds of Capital
Market products including Bonds, Equity, Futures, Options, CDS, MBS etc. have to comply with ACE
Compliance Rules.

Major Projects
TNS Process Simplification
 Created the Specification document and process flowchart for TNS simplification process. Was
responsible for creating Oracle tables and migrating Clients related information e.g. client’s name
and email IDs from TimesTen database to Oracle tables.
 Also, tested the new TNS process by sending several Smarts trade and checking the Trade
Notification message.
Notional Calculation update 
 Created the Specification document for updating the Notional Value and Notional value + Accrued
Interest attributes for several Swaps, Options and Futures types.
 Completed the diffs analysis by comparing the Bit-off and Bit-on values of these attributes and
comparing them with independent calculations using values from database tables.
Surface view change
 Updated the sf_contribution_vw view which populates bucket values in Surface for SUM(ABS) and
SUM(ABS Percentage) functions so that correct negative bucket values are populated for details
with – or –ABS operator types.
 Tested to make sure the fix corrected bucket values for thousands of rule-acct-cusip combinations.
ETRS Look through
 Created the specification document and test cases for introduction of new ETRS Look through phase
type -19 i.e. ETRS or Constituent LT phase type.
 Tested the new Phase type by creating test rules with different combinations of Rule style and
function types e.g. Position-Sum, Transaction-Count and by using latest Phase type 19 or older phase
17 and comparing the contributions of ETRS or constituent cusips.
BP/SP and Long/Short Context filtering for CCP CDS
 Created the specification document and test cases for fixing the context filtering behavior of
Buy/Sell Protection and Long/Short context types for CCP CDS trades.
 Tested by sending AE trades and confirmed that Buy trades were firing for Sell Protection Rules for
negative or zero net quantity and Sell Trades were firing for Buy Protection rules for positive or zero
net quantity.

collateral requirements by conducting a process called CEL-RUN every day and also manages Margin
Calls and Move Creations to clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Responsible for interacting with Business Users and other teams to understand the expectations
from the COAST AD group in a particular project and preparing the Business Requirements
Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) to document the in-scope and out-
of-scope specifications and timelines for a project.
 Prepared the Functional Specifications Document (FSD) for designing the feed to be sent from
COAST to xODS to report JPMorgan Collateral for compliance with European Markets Infrastructure
Regulation (EMIR) Collateral reporting regulation.
 Prepared the Functional Specifications Document (FSD) for designing the feed to be sent from
COAST to DCU Optimizer to ensure Collateral positions data are sent to DCU optimizer multiple
times a day and DCU Optimizer sends back move suggestions to COAST users multiple times a day.
 Working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst and Project Manager for Source Feed migration
activities for COAST. It is my responsibility to interact with teams which are initiating the migrations,
understand the scope of migrations, size of data, timelines and strategy for testing.
 Responsible for attribute difference analysis between the legacy flow and the strategic flow,
reporting the differences to upstream/downstream teams and getting the upstream to resolve the
issues; also responsible for answering any question downstream teams may have regarding their
own testing and finally getting the Signoffs from them. I am also acting as Project Manager keeping
migration activities on schedule from COAST’s perspective.
 Responsible for creating new JIRAs for Data Management tasks in COAST and maintaining a JIRA
tracker to track the progress on each JIRAs. Also responsible for following up with the AD team

specializing in Health Insurance sector. WellCare is a major provider of Medicare and Medicaid services.
One of the most essential components of WellCare IT is Communication Tracking System or CTS which is
responsible of generating and tracking all kinds of communications to members which include letters, ID
cards, kits etc. WellCare has been expanding its Medicaid services in several states like Missouri, South
Carolina and New Jersey and CTS has been instrumental in ensuring effective communications to
members in these states.
