Activity 1: List and Describe!

Directions: Aerobic exercise is essential to any fitness regimen; it has a contribution in


achieving the fitness goal of an individual. On the picture below, list down examples of
aerobic exercises and try to describe how these exercises can help to benefit your body
to become healthy.

AEROBIC EXERCISES BENEFITS


1. Running or jogging Running is a very efficient form of aerobic
exercise. It has the potential to improve
heart health, burn fat and calories, and
improve your mood.
2. Walking Walking every day can lower your risk of
heart disease, obesity, diabetes, high blood
pressure, and depression.
3. Swimming Swimming is a low-impact exercise that is
beneficial to people who are prone to or
recovering from injuries, as well as those
who have limited mobility. It can help tone
your muscles while also increasing your
strength and endurance.
4. Zumba Zumba is good for your heart, it improves
coordination, it tones your entire body, and
it may help you relax.
5. Jump rope Jumping rope increases body awareness,
hand-foot coordination, and agility.

various types of aerobic dance, I can see how happy they are doing it, even if it is
exhausting for experienced dancers like me.

interesting to dance? Explain your answer.
 Among the four types of dance aerobics, I found the Zumba dance to be the most
interesting because it is very convenient and popular these days. Because it is more
plausible and simpler to them.

because it is designed to assist those suffering from severe anxiety, mental and
physical trauma, and depression.

 Yes, aerobic exercise strengthens your muscles, which can help you maintain
mobility as you age. Exercise can also reduce the risk of falls and injuries in
older adults. It can also improve your quality of life. Aerobic exercise can help
prevent obesity, heart disease, and high blood pressure.
3. Dance aerobics increases the functions of the heart, lungs and blood vessels of
the body through proper supply of oxygen
 Dance aerobics increases the functions of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels
because aerobic exercise requires more oxygen, the lungs must deliver more
oxygen to working muscles. Regular exercise improves the ability of the lungs,
heart, and blood vessels to deliver oxygen to the body through the bloodstream.
As the depth of breathing increases, the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide
between the lungs and the blood becomes faster.

4. Dance aerobics helps us to recover from fatique quickly


 When you first start doing regular aerobic exercise, you will notice an increase in
stamina and less fatigue in the long run. Some newcomers to dance aerobics feel
exhausted after their first attempt or within a few minutes, but as time passes, their
bodies prepare to be ready for the next routine, allowing them to continue for a
longer period of time than before. That is what we achieve by repeating a routine
over time, and we are not more exhausted than before we began.
5. Dance aerobics can help us to build up confidence and physical appearance
 It is true that dance aerobics can help you build confidence. We cannot be
embarrassed to perform a step or move, and we cannot perform it effectively if
we are insecure about it. Someone with a smile on their face appears more
promising. It also causes us to expel unwanted toxins from our bodies, causing
our smile to widen and make us appear more appealing.

exercise? Justify your answer.

increasing circulation. They benefit our cardiovascular health in this way. Aerobic
exercise has the potential to improve stamina and reduce fatigue.
