I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Nowadays, especially among students, procrastination is very frequent.

In a health psychology class, Baumeister, PhD, looked at the phenomenon of

procrastination among individuals. Procrastinators reported less stress and

illness early in the semester than non-procrastinators, but later in the

semesters, procrastinators reported more stress and illness. Procrastination,

according to Dr. Pychyl and Dr. Sirois, is defined as "the primacy of short-

term mood repair... over the lengthier pursuit of intended actions." In other

words, procrastination is about focusing on "the immediate urgency of

managing negative moods" rather than getting to work, according to Dr.

Sirois.

Individuals' choices have an impact on their everyday tasks, as well as

their future activities. Our team organized an online symposium with students

and talked to them about the  drawbacks of procrastination, and also

discussing it. We also listened to their explanations and gave them the

appropriate guidance on how to overcome this obstacle and work more

productively.

II. Community Profile

We decide to choose the senior high students of cauayan city national high school with the 19

students who participate in our via google meet. The senior high have two curriculum the

grade11 & grade12 and we have different strands the HUMSS, STEM,TVL, and ABM. along

our plan, we choose all strands and curriculum because we know that all senior high can

relate in our topic and some of them are watching k-drama, reading wattpad story, dancing in

tiktok, playing ml etc. so they procrastinate there module than do their responsibility to do

there module. This procrastination no more can help them to reduce procrastinating

III. Introduction to Plan

a. How the plan was developed

We formed PROCRASTINATION: NO MORE, we first set our goals and objectives and why
are we decided to go through with this. We assessed the problem and laid out our plans and
objectives. As we go through with this part we also created a blueprint so that we have an overview
for a plan, it will also help us in our strategies to successfully implement the plan.

b. Who was involved in the development of the plan

The members of the group are involved in the development of the plan. The work was divided
by inviting participants to the symposium, creating a presentation that will be presented and form that
the participants will answer after the meeting. We also listed our objectives for the plan so we can
achieve them. The development of the plan serves as our roadmap, together with the members who
are dedicated and responsible and helped our team unite towards our goal. The team dedicated their
time to raising awareness about procrastination since the topic is very timely and relevant especially
to students since the youth are the hope of the nation according to Dr. Jose Rizal.

c. Who will manage the implementation of the plan

As we planned all of the members of the group participated in the implementation of the plan, we
assigned them to their own respective works. Some of them are assigned to invite participants needed
for our online symposium. And some of them were also assigned to create questions for the meeting
and will be presenters for the topic. This symposium wouldn’t be complete without the help of the
participants which are the Grade 11 students who will help us achieve our objectives for the plan. The
implementation of the plan is conducted online so that the participants would be safe without them
having exposure to one another.

d. Other information that is important to the plan

The topic which is Procrastination is very timely because a lot of students have a hobby of
procrastinating and some of them are starting to fail their classes, which is why the topic is really
important because it will help them stop their habit. It would also remind them that their habit of
procrastination is a killer of their own success in life. They need to know that as a student they should
value their time and treat it like gold because you can never stop and go back in time. With the help of
science, they can break their habit, if they will start working now according to research, 80 percent of
them will continue to keep going.
