“Mapita”, a Maranao word that means “tomorrow”, which shows the tribe can go beyond their limits by rebuilding their economy along with the history
they preserve, in accordance with their 5 basic needs, such as food, water, clothing, shelter, and livelihood. Inspired by the Torogan house, the livelihood
center aims to be as always, a mark of the prowess of the Maranao people. A space where the rich culture of the people can be learned from the locals and
used as their main source of livelihood, and also through their daily living. A form of exhibition and cultural exchange. The culture, and practices are
embodied within the building, while still standing firm by being in the contemporary light. Notice that the colors of the sari-manok (a notable symbol of the
