HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Introduction

Salutations and Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
My name is Henry Epps and I am the founder of the Harvest Life Global Network and the Harvest
Life Church Inc. The Lord has giving me a vision of a global united alliance of apostles, prophets,
overseers and church leaders to prepare the church for the end-times harvest! You may be asking
a gathering of Christian leaders and organizations for what? The apostolic and prophetic federation
alliance are for:
1. To complete the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, 18 And Jesus came to them and spake
unto them, saying, all authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go ye
therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: 20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I
commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world!”
Matt 28:17-20 (ASV)
2. To complete the mandate of Ephesians 4, “And he gave some to be apostles; and some,
prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 for the perfecting of
the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: 13 till
we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full-
grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: 14 that we may be no
longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the
sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; 15 but speaking truth in love, we may
grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ; 16 from whom all the body
fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplied, according to the
working in due measure of each several part, maketh the increase of the body unto the
building up of itself in love.”
Eph 4:11-16 (ASV)
3. To prepare an army to battle the kingdom of darkness and set millions of souls free
according the Ephesians 6, “10 finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his
might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of
the devil. 12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities,
against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of
wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Wherefore take up the whole armor of God that ye
may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore,
having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15
and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 withal taking up
the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”
Eph 6:10-18 (ASV)

4. To feed the Hungary, clothed the poor, and see about those that are shut-in according to
Matthew, when the Lord says, “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come,
ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world: 35 for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I
was a stranger, and ye took me in; 36 naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited
me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying,
Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? Or athirst, and gave thee drink? 38 And
when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? 39 And when
saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say
unto them, verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even
these least, ye did it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart
from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels: 42
for I was hungry, and ye did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink; 43
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison,
and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee
hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto
thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it
not unto one of these least, ye did it not unto me. 46 And these shall go away into eternal
punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.”
Matt 25:34-46 (ASV)

5. Collaborate resources for the strengthen the churches, ministries and communities in the name

The Harvest Global Network

The Harvest Life Global Network was founded by Chief Overseer Henry H. Epps Jr, who also
founded the Harvest life Church Inc., the Harvest Life Ministry and the Harvest life training
systems. The Harvest Life Global Network is a network connecting Christian believers around the
globe in prayer, fellowship, training and resources to enlarge and strengthen the Kingdom of God.
We are a Non-Denomination entity that collaborates with other believers of the Lord Jesus Christ!
The Harvest life Global Team has develop the following systems to equip, empower and educate
the Body-of- Christ. The Overseer development course is a free course we offer for indigenous
leaders around the world. The Overseer course first began in 2006 on the
harvestlifechurhonline.org ministry, were many ministers around the world completed and
received certificates of completion. The course has about 100 lessons covering doctrine, beliefs,
principle, church administrations, spiritual authority, spiritual warfare, and home cell building and
kingdom mindsets. These are some of the courses we offer in the Overseer development program:

The process: The Apostolic Alliance and Prophetic Presbytery Federation

1. Apostolic, prophetic, overseer’s will come together and come to an agreement to form a
charter, by-laws and constitution.
2. The board will create rules and standards for the federation to operate that do not conflict
with their individual beliefs, dogmas and doctrines. How can two walk together unless they
agree?
3. The board will be formed under the Roberts Rule book format so that the govern body will
do all things decent and in order.
4. Once the board is established and all of the legal matters are completed then the next order
of business will be:
a. To teach, preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
b. To prepare the church for the end-times.
c. To feed the poor.
d. To clothe the needy.
e. To equip the saints of God for the work of the ministry.

10
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

INTRODUCTION
So now we must understand the five-fold ministry and their functions?

Currently there are three teachings in regards to the ministry of an apostle.

The first says that the ministry of the apostle ended after John the Beloved died in Ephesus in 101
A.D.

The second says anyone who is a missionary is an apostle.

The third, and what you will learn throughout this study, is that “apostles are Christ’s architekton
ascension gifts to the Church provided to perfect every believer for the work of ministry.”

APOSTOLIC MATRIX

The most profound aspects of the apostle’s ministry is his spiritual matrix. His make-up includes
such things as:

Fortitude

Strength

Authority

APOSTOLIC IMPACT

His impact on the church deals with:

Building

11
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Structure

Government

This course is a study in the call and ministry of the apostle. To best understand the apostle’s
calling we need to move beyond an obscure teaching that says, “He’s a missionary.” To do this we
will study the work (ministry) of an apostle. His actions will define the grace on his life and, by
looking at his work, will define who he is.
The lessons have been carefully laid out to progressively lead you into an understanding of the
apostle’s unique ministry, how he impacts the local church, and what you can expect when you
work with an apostle.
“And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after
that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues” (1 Corinthians
12:28).
Apostolic Types (This excerpts and teachings are taught by Apostle Les Crause)
Bishops and Apostolic Succession
Then we go back a little bit further and we have the teaching that says that as the early apostles
began to die out they passed their heritage on to others and these men became known as the
bishops. They said that Peter was the first bishop of Rome, Rome being the main city and Peter
being the main apostle. Naturally the bishop who took over from the bishop, who took over from
the bishop in Rome is going to be the top guy in the church, and he is the pope.
It is the teaching of Catholicism and it is a doctrine known as apostolic succession. Today there
are men taking for themselves the title of Bishop. What they are actually believing and have been
taught is that they are descended from the bishop of a bishop of a bishop who originally was
appointed by an apostle, and through apostolic succession the apostolic office was passed down
through the bishops. If you are Roman Catholic that might sit pretty well with you. I am staggered
though to find out that there are Charismatic and Pentecostal brethren who believe this, when it is
so clearly contrary to the Scriptures and to the Word of God.
The apostles could never ever appoint and pass on what God had given them, because Jesus calls
the apostle. And even when they stood up prior to Pentecost and Peter came up with this really
brilliant idea that they needed to get somebody to replace Judas, even then Peter had to admit, “If
we are going to appoint somebody it will have to have been somebody that was close to us, that
was a fairly close disciple with Jesus.”

12
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

And so what they did is they sat down and figured out in their minds, “I wonder who Jesus would
have chosen.”
They put forth two names and said, “We figure one of these two guys probably would have been
the one that Jesus would have chosen to take Judas’s place.” They took a vote and Matthias came
out with a majority vote, so they appointed him to be the twelfth apostle. Matthias’s claim to fame
is that after he was appointed he disappeared. We never hear about him again. Granted, we never
hear about the other apostles either, but this famous twelfth apostle was appointed by the other
apostles. They were apostles weren’t they? They appointed somebody didn’t they? That is
apostolic success. They passed it on didn’t they?
Jesus the Ultimate Apostle
Here enters the first apostolic type. Now before I get to him I want you to look at the perfect type
of the apostle in the New Testament. He is known as the Apostle and High Priest of our faith, the
Lord Jesus Himself. Jesus came as the original prototype, so I am going to start with the New
Testament and then I am going to move back into the Old Testament.
In Deuteronomy 18:15 Moses predicted this concerning Jesus:
The LORD [Yahweh] your God will raise up for you a Prophet just like me from amongst your
brothers, and you will listen to him.
The Moses Category
Let’s begin with Moses. The Moses apostle has these functions and responsibilities.
Firstly, he directs ministry largely at the status quo church.
You say, “Status quo church? Which chapter and verse did you get that from?”

Directed at Status Quo

Les chapter three verse two! It is a term that I made up and which other people also use, and you
know what it means. The status quo is what everybody does. It is the ‘in thing’. It is the fashion of
this world. The status quo church is the church that is following the patterns of this world, that
have become absorbed and controlled by the world, by the status quo and doing what everybody
else does. The church is behaving just like the world.
The church has become an organization no different to any worldly organization. The church has
become a business, no different to any other business out there. It is has become a club, just like
any other social club out there. The church has become absorbed into the World System, and the
Moses apostle is called primarily to address that aspect of the church, to deal with it and to break
the church free. Why? Because Moses was called to deliver them out of Egypt. They cried to be
delivered out of Egypt, until they had to leave behind all the good things. The Moses apostle has
a big job on his hands, and we are going to be dealing with a whole series just on how he has to
go about it.

13
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Moses is called to bring the church out of bondage to the World System. How is he going to do it?
He is going to do it kind of like Moses delivered the Children of Israel from Egypt. Do you think
that the Children of Israel just wanted to go, that it was easy for?
Moses just to walk in and say, “Okay guys, we’re getting out of here now. God has called me to
be your deliverer. Here I am to come and set you people free and to lead you out of Egypt.”
No, the first time Moses tried that by killing an Egyptian the people nearly killed him! Those
wonderful people that he wanted to deliver would not listen to a word that he said. Pray that God
has not called you to be a Moses type of apostle. Moses went through a terrible time bringing
God’s people out of bondage to the Promised Land and he succeeded in getting them as far as the
border, then he died.
Moses will not take the people into the Promised Land. If God has called you purely to be a Moses
you will not succeed. Yes, you will succeed up to a point. You will lay a foundation and
groundwork, but sad to say you will not be the final runner in this race. Your job will take you so
far, and it means you are going to have to step back and let somebody else finish it. I will not tell
you anything more than that about Moses now.
David
What comes next? It is naturally the David type of apostle. What did David do?

Out of the System

David directs his ministry largely to those who have already left the System or the status quo
church. They have become fed up with it. They have had enough and said, “We’re out of here.”
Or, they received the left boot of fellowship. They have been kicked out. Most of them have the
title ‘prophet’.
They claim that they want nothing to do with the System, but usually the truth is the System wants
nothing to do with them. Nevertheless they have left. They are a bunch of dropouts. Nobody wants
them. They are considered losers. They live in the Cave of Adullam, and that is where David will
gather them together and he will bring them outside of the System. He will minister to them and
build them up and bring them to the same kind of thing. He will build them up, show them a pattern
and indicate to them what God has for them.
David does far more than that though. David brings the church to a place of blessing and prosperity.
His whole ultimate goal was to bring the land of Israel into a unity, into a peace and a place of
security. I have bad news for you if you are a David though. You have the same problem as Moses.
You are not going to finish the job. Somebody else is going to do it.

Removes Traditions

14
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

David dispenses with traditions and brings the church into contact with the living God. David says,
“I’m just going to go and get the Ark,” and he goes overboard in dispensing with traditions. He is
so sick of tradition that he swings the pendulum and goes to the opposite end and overdoes it the
other way.

The Joshua Apostle

Joshua was Moses’ disciple and was disciple by him. The Joshua disciple is zealous for the
principles that are introduced by Moses. So zealous was Joshua for Moses that when God told
Moses to appoint the seventy elders and that He would put the anointing upon them, two of them
failed to turn up. And as they were standing in the camp and the anointing of God came down on
the sixty eight that had gone, the power of God came upon those two that remained in the camp,
and they began to prophesy.
Joshua turned to Moses and said, “My Lord, shut them up. They can’t do this! That’s out of order.
It’s contrary to what you said. Sort them out!”
Joshua was there and was ready to defend Moses. I will show you when we look at Joshua in more
detail that he actually was Moses’ bodyguard. Hs main function was actually to protect Moses.
The Joshua apostle takes over where Moses left off and completes the work. It was not Moses who
led the Israelites into the Land of Canaan and gave them the land, but it was Joshua.
The Joshua apostle displaces the System. Joshua went into the land and drove the enemy off in
order that the Promised Land could be inhabited and taken over by the people. The Joshua apostle
hands over the church to a new generation. Not one of those that left Egypt made it into the Canaan
Land except Joshua and Caleb. Joshua handed over the Promised Land to a young and new
generation. The church of tomorrow will be led by a new generation and the old will die out and
will fade away.
And finally, the Joshua apostle brings rest to the Body of Christ. It says in Joshua 21:44:
And the LORD [Yahweh] gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers:
and not a man of all their enemies stood before them; the LORD [Yahweh] delivered all their
enemies into their hands.

The Solomon Apostle

And so, we come to the final apostolic type – the Solomon apostle. Solomon was disciple by his
father David. Solomon is zealous of introducing change, according to David’s pattern. Just as
Moses lays out the correct structure for the church, Joshua goes in, smashes the old one in order
to introduce the new, so as David has introduced the new concept to those who have left the
15
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

System, the Solomon apostle takes them in and shows them how to set up and put in place the
pattern that David has introduced.
Now here is something that should make you laugh. The Solomon apostle brings an emphasis on
love, not war. Joshua was the warrior. With him was big strife, conflict and, “Go kill him! Rout
the System! Destroy it! Push it out!”
Solomon waits for David to do all the warfare and get it finished, then he settles down and becomes
a gentleman. He enters into the prosperity that David has prepared the people for. And so Solomon
brings an emphasis on working smart, not hard. Solomon brings wisdom. He brings the right way
of doing things. Poor Joshua has to go and beat them on the head and try and knock some sense
into them, knock it out of them and get things right.
Solomon waits for it all to blow over and he says, “Okay guys, we’re going to build from scratch.
Now let me show you how to do it the right way.”
He comes with wisdom, with the right pattern and the right principles, and he has no opposition,
because he is building on new ground. He doesn’t have to go into the status quo. He builds a new
church. He goes back and builds something that replaces the System.
And finally, Solomon brings the power of God to the people. It says in 1 Kings 10 and 11:
And it came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the
house of the LORD [Yahweh],

FIVE-FOLD ASCENSION GIFTS

The object of this lesson is to understand the different graces on the five-fold ascension gifts of
apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to reap maximum benefits as a believer.

FIVE-FOLD DIFFERENCES

there are distinct and unique differences in the five-fold ascension gifts.

All possess a different measure (metron) of grace.

16
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Let’s begin our journey in the study of the five ascension gifts in this lesson.

Notice the use of the word “some” and not “all” in the following text:

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body
of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-12).

UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT

In the above scripture it is very clear that Jesus gave five different ascension gifts of apostles,
prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to the Body of Christ. If we do not understand the
distinct differences and the role each plays in perfecting the Body of Christ, then it will be
impossible for us to benefit from their uniqueness’s.

For example, if we try to make a prophet function like a pastor, we abuse the prophet by trying to
get him to do something that he is not called to do.
Therefore, we cannot benefit from the unique grace on his life. Likewise, if we try to get a pastor
to function like a prophet we abuse the pastor and cannot receive from the unique grace on his life.

It is extremely important that the Body of Christ thoroughly understand the differences between
all five of the ascension gifts, thereby enabling us to advance and mature spiritually.

FIVE UNIQUE GIFTS

To better understand the differences between the five-fold ascension gifts, let’s assign certain
words that would best describe their unique functions.

By looking at the words we generally associate with the different ascension gifts, we get a clearer
idea of their distinctiveness.

17
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Also, let’s list some short definitions of the five-fold ascension gifts as basic explanations of their
occupations within the Body of Christ.

Let’s start first with the ascension gift that we are the most familiar with, the pastor.

WONDERFUL PASTORAL GIFTS

Pastors are wonderful gifts from Jesus and of great benefit to the local church. They are typically
full of mercy, love and compassion.
They offer wise counseling, sound godly wisdom and advice.

There are many times when we need the loving grace and nurture that is on the pastoral ascension
gift.

The grace on the pastor is to impart in the believer a love for God’s people.

The Office of the Teacher

THE TEACHER

We need more than compassion and love, however, we also need to become disciples. For that we
need the teacher.

THE INSTRUCTORS

Teachers have a unique grace to breakdown scripture into easily understood and attainable steps.
It is not enough for a person to only be born-again, they must be instructed in the Word of God
and the ways of righteousness.

The grace on the teacher is to impart a heart in the believer to make students of the Word of God.

EVANGELISM THEN WHAT?

Without the ascension gift of the evangelists we would quickly forget about the Great Commission.

The grace on the evangelist’s gift is focused on the harvest. However, the evangelists grace ends
after a person is born again. Then that person needs the grace of the other ascension gifts to fully
mature.

The grace on the evangelists is to impart a heart in the believer for the lost.

THE PROPHET
“4 Now the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 5 before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee,
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet
unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I know not how to speak; for I am a
child. 7 But Jehovah said unto me, Say not, I am a child; for to whomsoever I shall send thee thou
shalt go, and whatsoever I shall command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid because of them;
for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith Jehovah. 9 Then Jehovah put forth his hand, and touched
my mouth; and Jehovah said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth: 10 see, I have
this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to

THE PROPHET’S GRACE

Prophets receive and communicate the mind and will of God.

Jesus uses them to announce His will, unlock mysteries of His Word, bring conviction of sin, and
focus the believer on an intimate spiritual and holy life.

Prophets are spokesmen of God.

29
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

The basic foundational function of a New Testament prophet is edification, exhortation and
comfort.

The grace on the prophet is to impart to the believer a hunger for the rhema
Word of God (voice of God).

Chapter Six
The Office of the Apostle

THE APOSTLE
APOSTLE (apostolos)
“They therefore, when they were come together, asked him, saying, Lord, dost thou at this time
restore the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know times or seasons,
which the Father hath set within His own authority. 8 But ye shall receive power, when the Holy
Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had said these things, as they
were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they were
looking steadfastly into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11
who also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was received
up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye beheld him going into heaven.”
Acts 1:6-11 (ASV)
Apostles are God’s builders (architekton) of the glorious church.

Apostles are the most panoramic of the five-fold ascension gifts. They have the ability to see the
whole picture. Whereas a pastor might be more local church- minded, the apostle has more of a
world (universal) church vision.

His heart is to mobilize the local church into a fine-tuned, invading and occupying army.

THE APOSTLE’S GRACE

All of these words best describe the different attributes of the various ascension
(Doma) gifts.

33
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Once we understand their differences we can benefit from their uniqueness’s.

The grace on the apostle is to impart to the believer a heart to build Jesus' Church.

A FULL TIME VOCATION

Five-fold ascension gifts are full-time ministry vocations set in the Body of Christ to thoroughly
prepare every believer for the work of the ministry. The work of the ministry is...

The Great Commission.

Serving and meeting the needs of others.

Doing the work of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher.

REGULAR OCCUPATION

“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith
ye are called” (Ephesians 4:1 Italics added).

In the scripture above, the Apostle Paul specifically addresses the five-fold ascension gifts about
their calling. He tells them to “walk (live) worthy of their vocation.”

The word vocation is a Latin word meaning “calling.” The English definition of the word vocation
means “regular occupation.”

IMPARTING GRACE

34
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

When we look at the five-fold ascension gifts as “regular occupations” rather than part time
activities, it provides us with clear insight into the difference between the believer and the five-
fold ascension gift.

Five-fold ascension gifts are set in the Body of Christ and the local church specifically as “full
time vocations.” Their call is to impart the unique grace that is on their life into every believer.

Every local church should have resident in the believers of that local church all five graces of
apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.

THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED

Not everyone is a five-fold ascension gift.

Not everybody in the local church is called into full-time ascension gift ministry. This does not
mean that you, the born again believer, is not called into ministry.
In fact, every five-fold ascension gift is called to provide a unique grace for you to be thoroughly
equipped to do the work of the ministry.

EFFECTIVE DISCIPLES

Some think that they must be a five-fold ascension gift to qualify for ministry. This is not the case.
Let’s explain:

It is possible to pastor, nurture, love, care for, and comfort others without being an ascension gift
pastor. Yet, to do so effectively, as a believer, you need the unique grace of an ascension gift pastor
imparted to you.

It is possible to teach the Word of God and not be an ascension gift teacher.

Yet, to raise up a disciple of Christ effectively you need, as a believer, the unique grace of the
ascension gift teacher imparted to you.

35
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

DISCIPLES

It is possible to teach the Word of God and not be an ascension gift teacher.

Yet, to raise up a disciple of Christ effectively you need, as a believer, the unique grace of the
ascension gift teacher imparted to you.

It is possible to lead someone to Jesus through sharing the Gospel and not be an ascension gift
evangelist.

Yet, to have a heart for the lost requires an impartation of the five-fold ascension gift evangelist
into your life.

RECEIVING GRACE

It is possible to prophesy and not be an ascension gift prophet. Yet, to create a heart in the believer
that hungers for the rhema word of God (voice of God) you need the unique grace of the prophet
imparted to you.

You can have a desire to build the local church and not be an ascension gift apostle. Yet, to have
a desire to build the local church you need the grace of the ascension gift apostle imparted to you.

ENABLED BELIEVERS

A person does not have to be a car to enjoy the benefits of a car. Nor does a person have to be an
airplane to enjoy the benefits of an airplane.

Likewise, a believer does not have to be a five-fold ascension gift of apostle, prophet, evangelist,
pastor, or teacher to benefit from the unique grace on the life of those different ascension gifts.

36
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

The believer is enabled to become complete only after the impartation of all five- fold ascension
gifts in his or her life.

DRAWING ON THE GIFTS

When we understand that every born again believer can draw upon the unique grace of all five
ascension gifts to be thoroughly equipped for the work of the ministry this gives us a great
wholeness and a proper perspective of ministry.

THE WORK OF MINISTRY

Finally, what is the work of the ministry that the believer is being equipped for?

It is the work of the apostle (build), prophet (prophesy), evangelists (reach the lost), pastor (love
God’s people), and teacher (make disciples) that has been imparted to that believer from all five
ascension gifts.

FIVE ASCENSION GIFTS

APERCU

There are distinct and unique differences in the five-fold ascension gifts. Pastors are shepherds,
called to love and nurture God’s people.
Teachers are set in the Body of Christ to instruct us in the Word of God.

Evangelism is telling the Good News that Jesus Christ died for sins, was raised from the dead on
the third day, and is now extending forgiveness of sins to all who would believe.

37
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Prophets are ascension gifts that are set in the church to produce a hunger for the voice of God.

Apostles are God’s builders (architekton) of the glorious church.

Not everybody in the local church is called into full-time ascension gift ministry.

When we look at the five-fold ascension gifts as “regular occupations” rather than part-time
activities, it provides us with clear insight into the difference between the believer and the five-
fold ascension gift.

The work of the ministry is the work of the apostle (build), prophet (prophesy), evangelists (reach
the lost), pastor (love God’s people), and teacher (make disciples) that has been imparted to a
believer from all five ascension gifts.

The Harvest life ministers beliefs, faiths, and doctrines

Harvest Life Church Inc.

The Church and its Mission

We believe that the church is a gathering of baptized believers, who believe that Jesus Christ was
born as a man and was crucified (died) on the cross for our sins and three days later he rose from
the dead and ascended into heaven and is now sitting at the right hand side of his father. We
believe that our mission is given by Jesus Christ. We are His disciples and it is our job to go and
spread the Good News.

Matthew 28:18-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Here Jesus is giving his great commission, he is instructing all of us to go out and teach all nations
(world-wide) all the things he has taught us. So we believe that it is our responsibility to share our
faith on a daily basis.

1 God the father, the holy creator (Jehovah)
2 God the Holy Son, our Lord and Savior (Jesus Christ)
3 God the Holy Spirit (Our Comforter, Helper, Counselor)

1 We believe that salvation can only be achieved through the blood of Jesus Christ.

2 We believe in the birth of Jesus Christ.

3 We believe there is only one church and Jesus is the head.

4 We believe in tithes and offerings for the work of the ministry.

5 We believe the Holy Bible is the word of God.

6 We believe that grace is a free gift of God.

40
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

7 We believe that works are an evidence of grace through a believer.

8 We believe in all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

9 We believe that if you confess Jesus as Lord and that you believe he died for your sins you
will be saved.

10 We believe every believer should be witnessing and evangelizing for the Lord to bring
forth their fruit.

11 We believe every believer needs to be baptized and experience Holy Communion, the
Ordinance of Jesus Christ.

12 We believe that Jesus will return for his church. (I These 4:16)

13 We believe in the millennium reign of Christ.

14 We believe that every believer should live a Holy acceptable life in this present life.

Salvation: The deliverance from the power and penalty of sin.

In the beginning man had no need for salvation because there was no sin (disobedience to God).
Once man disobeyed God, sin came into the world and so did death. (Refer to Gen: 3:1-24)

Genesis Chapter 3

Now the serpent (Satan) was craftier than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He
said to the women, “Did God really say, “You must not eat from any tree in the garden?” The

41

women said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, “You
must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it or you
will die.” You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the women, “For God knows that when you
eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing Good and evil.”

When the women saw that the fruit of the tree was
Good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and
ate it. She also took some and gave it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they realized they were naked, so the sewed fig
leave together and made coverings for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of
the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day and they hid from the Lord
among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” He answered,
“I heard you in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.” And he said, “Who told
you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
The man said, “The woman you put here with me-she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate
it.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The women said, “The
serpent deceived me and I ate.” So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and
you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and
between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head and you will strike his heel. To the
woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with the pain you will give
birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband and he will rule over you.” To Adam he
said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, you
must not eat of it, cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the
days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
By the sweat of you brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you
were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return. Adam named his wife Eve because she
would become the mother of all the living. The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and
his wife and clothed them. And the
Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be
allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.

So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had
been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed him on the east side of the Garden of Eden,
Cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

42
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Since Adam and Eve did not follow God’s rules we must die. It is written in Romans. 6:23

For the wages of sin is death.

We must understand that everyone has sinned.

(See Romans 3:23)

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

And there are none that are righteous

(See Rom. 2:10-20)

Therefore it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands,
no one who seeks God All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no
one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The
poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their
feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not
know. There is no fear of God before their eyes. Now we know that whatever the law says, it says
to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held
accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law,
rather, through the law we became conscious of sin.

So given the fact that everyone sins we must have a way to regain eternal life.
So therefore everyone dies. (Rom. 5:12)

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way
death came to all men, because all sinned.

Yes! My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has definitely paved an outstanding path for his people.
Because of his courageous sacrifice for us we can now have everlasting life. Jesus laid his life
down for us so that we could live and because of it Satan became a defeated foe. Through Adam
and Eve Satan had stolen the keys of life from us, but through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
they were retrieved right back. (Rom 10:4) Christ is the end of the law (mosaic laws) so that there
may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

Romans 10:9-13

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and
it is with your mouth that you confess that you are saved. As the scripture says, “Anyone who
trusts in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentiles--the
same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him for everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved.

NIV
2 Timothy 3:16 – 17

All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking and correcting and training in
righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped to do every good work.

GRACE- The undeserved and abundant gift of God’s love in providing salvation (deliverance
from the penalty and power of sin) for (believers). Particularly made effective for those who
believe in Jesus Christ. Grace is the free gift from God himself, in as far as to forgive believers
for their sins against God. “For it cannot be earned or worked for.” (Ephesians 2:8)

Imagine the Super-bowl, the last and biggest football game of the year. Only the people with
tickets can get into the game. You thought that the tickets were going to be very expensive but
you were going to go anyway. You try to purchase some tickets. First you call the ticket master.
They do not have any. Then you try to purchase them from over the internet and cannot find any.
You call all of your sport buddies and none of them are able to help you. You finally decide to go
to the game and buy some tickets from the scalpers at whatever price they want. You arrive at the
stadium the day of the game and wait for someone to show up with some tickets for sale. So you
wait and wait but no one shows up with any.

Finally you walk up to the entrance and ask where you have to go to purchase tickets for the game.
The person at the gate says, “The tickets this year are not for sale. All you have to do is to call the
owner and ask for a ticket and he will give it to you for free. All you have to do is ask.” Can you
believe that? That’s the way it is with grace. All we have to do is believe in the Son, confess that
He is Lord, and ask for forgiveness for our sins and He (God) will give us our tickets to get into
the gates of heaven. It’s just that simple.

(Ephesians 2:8-9) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.

45
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

There are so many names used to describe God. He is so many things to us. I went through and
found some of the redemptive names for him and what they stand for.

1 Jehovah T’sidkenu- the Lord our Righteousness- (Jeremiah 23:6)

2 Jehovah M’kaddesh- the Lord who sanctifies – (Leviticus 20:7)
3 Jehovah Shalom- the Lord our Peace (Judges 6:24)
4 Jehovah Shammah – the Lord our Ever-Present God – (Ezekiel 48:35)
5 Jehovah Rapha – The Lord our Healer (Exodus 15:26)
6 Jehovah Jireh – The Lord our Provider (Genesis 22:14)
7 Jehovah Nissi – the Lord our Victory (Exodus 17:15)
8 Jehovah Rohi – the Lord our Shepherd (Psalm 23:1)

There is one additional name that I want to give you which is Jehovah T’sur, the
Lord our Strength

Who is the
Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is GOD! God the Spirit (the Spirit of God) he has the same abilities as God the
Father, and God the Son. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent.

Scriptural references: I Corinthians 2:10-12, I Corinthians 12:4-11, Luke 1:35, Psalms 139:7-10, I
Corinthians 3:16.

46
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

The Holy Spirit is also a person, with a personality that wants to have a relationship with you. He
wants to fellowship with you, his job is to guide and teach and to protect. The Holy Spirit will
help you when you are weak. Romans 8:26. He also prays for us and intercedes with God on our
behalf, because we do not know what to pray for. Romans 8:27.

As stated earlier the Holy Spirit will guide you. (John 16:13) But you have to listen, and you must
be able to hear his voice. The way you can recognize his voice is by having a relationship with
him. In order to build a relationship with him we must communion with him 2 Corinthians, 13:14,
just like with anyone else, you must first get to know him, spend time with him, read and learn
about him. What makes him happy? What makes him sad? What grieves him? Spend some time
each day talking with him like you do a best friend.

In recognizing that you must spend time with the Holy Spirit to build a personal relationship with
God, you will find your prayer life to be more effective.
Remember we pray to the Father in the Son’s (Jesus) name and the Holy Spirit is the one who
carries the message. (Romans 8:26-28) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We
do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Sprit himself intercedes for us with groans that
words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts, knows the mind of the Spirit, because the
Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. By understanding this principle we
can apply it to our lives, and make our walk more meaningful in Christ.

Notes: ________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

Also our lives will be more fulfilling as we build our relationship with the Holy Spirit because we
will start to bear the fruits (characteristics) of the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23. But the “Fruits of the Spirit” is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

47
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

The more we bear the fruits of the spirit the more like Christ we become. The more like Christ we
become, the more we please God. So it is a good idea to pray to have the attributes of the fruits of
the spirit. Some other important things you must know about the Holy Spirit is that Jesus said,
John 16:7, “It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away the Comforter will not
come to you.”

Jesus was saying that he would send the Holy Spirit to be in us, to do the work of the father. You
see, before Jesus was with us, he could only be in one place at a time and therefore was limited by
his human body to be in more than one place at a time. But now that he has gone away and the
Spirit dwells within us, we can be led by his spirit and each one of us can have a personal
relationship with him through his spirit. So now we live by the Spirit and not by our sinful nature.
Romans 8:14; “Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Therefore we
should not live or have our minds set on the things of this world, but our minds and lives should
be set on those things that are acceptable in God’s eyes.

The Holy Spirit can come in many forms. Here are just a few:

1 Wind
2 Dove
3 Tongues of fire
4 Water
5 Breath

These different forms are accounts recorded in the Bible. But the most important thing you must
remember is that the Holy Spirit is of God. He is the wind that divided the Red Sea for Moses.
He is the water that killed the people in Noah’s day. He is the power that created man’s very being
for when God breathed the breath into man, it was the spirit that went in him. He is the same
power that created the Heavens and Earth.

The Holy Spirit is the power of God. When God gives a man a task to complete, he also gives
him his “Anointing” through The Holy Spirit.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Being immersed (Baptized) in the presence and being of God!

In Matthew 3:11, John the Baptist said, “I baptize with water for repentance. But after me will
come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you
with the Holy Spirit and with fire. In this passage John was referring to Jesus, he is the one who
will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. In order to receive him you must first accept Jesus Christ as
your savior (Romans 10:9). Also in Acts 2:38, Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one
of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift
of the Holy Spirit.”

Who is Jesus?

1 Our Lord and Savior!

2 Our Peace!

49
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

3 Our Provider!

4 The Truth,

5 A Man!

6 The Word!

7 The Lamb!

8 A Creator!

9 A Shepherd!

10 You’re Friend!

11 Joseph’s and Mary’s Son!

There are so many names used to describe this remarkable man. When I’m asked who Jesus is, all
I can say is that he is God’s only begotten son whom God sent down on the cross to lay his life
down for us so that we might live.

There are a few types of anointing’s, but we are going to focus on one in particular.
The anointing we are going to focus on is the one that is given through the Holy Spirit. This
anointing is one of power and is sent by God. (Jesus does this in John 1:33) You see after you are
baptized in the Holy Spirit, you may not receive the anointing. The anointing is the Power of God,
and is used for the building up of the church. When one receives the anointing, he or she are given
Spiritual Gifts, which we will review in the next chapter.

It is impossible to fulfill God’s will in our life without his anointing. It is so important that Jesus
told his disciples to go and wait until the spirits come, then, you will receive power when he arrives.

50
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

(Acts 1:4-7) In 1st John 2:27, it says, “As for you, (he was speaking to the apostles) the anointing
you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his
anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit-just as it has
taught you, remain in him.

The anointing is very real, and God does not give you gifts or talents without giving you the
anointing to perform them. So if he blesses you with the gift to teach, please trust that he will
anoint you to do just that. If he gives you the gift to preach, he will anoint you to be able to preach,
etc.)

Tithes – Means tenth of income.

We believe that tithing is a very important part of Gods plan. There is a principal in why we should
give, our belief is that a person should give in according to what the Holy Spirit guides them to
give, but if a person wants a measurement of what is customary, it is a tenth of your gross earnings.
We get this measurement from the Old Testament in the book of Leviticus, Chapter 27:30-32.
However we get our beliefs from the New Testament, 2nd Corinthians 9:6-8; Remember this:
Whoever sows sparingly, will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap
generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under
compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. When you tithe to God, it must be from your heart or
it will not be pleasing to him.

Remember that God is a jealous God and he wants what is due to him in accordance of what he
provides for you. Here are some more scriptures for you to read to see what Gods attitude is as it
relates to giving: Deuteronomy 12:17, and Malachi 3:8

The Ordinance of Christ

There are two main ordinances (an established rule or law) of Christ.

1. Communion (The Lords Supper) - the taking of bread and wine in remembrance of the
suffering and death of Jesus Christ.

51
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

Our Non-denominational Church teaches that the Communion (The Lords Supper) is a provision
of bread and wine, as symbols of Christ’s body and blood, partaken of by members of the church
in commemoration of the suffering and death of the Lord. This is to show their faith and their
participation in the merits of His sacrifice, as well as their hope of eternal life through His
resurrection from the dead.

1 Wine represents the shed blood of Jesus from Calvary’s cross. 2 Bread represents the body,
which was given for us.

Relevant Scriptures:

Living Bible: Luke 22:19-20;

19. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, “This is my
body which is given for you; this do in remembrance of me.”
20. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new testament in my blood,
which is shed for you.”

Notes_________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

2. Baptism- an outward symbol of an inward grace; identification with Christ in His death for
sin and resurrection to the newness of life.

Our Non-Denominational church teaches that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a
believer in Christ, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” This shows
forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem-our faith in the crucified, buried and risen savior.

Relevant Scriptures

Romans 6:3-6

Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from
the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5. For if we
have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his
resurrection: 6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be
destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Spiritual Gifts are gifts given by God to help build up the church. These gifts are not for use to
glorify ourselves, but to glorify God. These gifts are manifestations (made available) through the
spirit for the common good of the church. 1 Cor, 12:7. There are different types of Spiritual Gifts
that are available. Below is a list and where you can find them in the Bible:

53
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

1 Corinthians 12:1-31

10 Administration

Ephesians 4:1-16

These gifts are made available through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You may see the
development of these gifts before or even after the anointing. You may even request some of these
gifts but it is not guaranteed that you will receive them. You see God can distribute his gifts as he
sees fit. These gifts are used to build up the body (church) of Christ.

Now we can go into more detail of describing each gift and how they can benefit the church. First
we will give the definition then how it helps the church body.

Message of Wisdom – The ability to use knowledge from the Bible to apply to life circumstances.

Paul (the apostle) helps in identifying the different gifts, but does not go into which ones are given
to us. We at the Harvest Life Church will have a program by which you will be able to identify
your Gifts. We feel it is important for everyone who has been given a gift to be able to know what
it is so it can benefit the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

Chapter Eight
The Spiritual Gifts

1 Corinthians 12:1-31 (NKJV)

1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:
2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.
3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed,
and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge
through the same Spirit,
9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to
another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as
He wills.
12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body,
being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether
slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.
15 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the
body?
16 And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not
of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where
would be the smelling?
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.

58
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I
have no need of you."
22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater
honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,
24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor
to that part which lacks it,
25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care
for one another.
26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all
the members rejoice with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers,
after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?
30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.

Chapter Nine
The real End-Times that is coming?

Matthew 24:1-51 (KJV)

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew
him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be
left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us,
when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things
must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diver’s places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all
nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one
another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand :)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this
time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's
sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and
wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in
the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shined even unto the west; so shall also the
coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall
not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be
shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes
of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with
power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his
elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and putted forth leaves, ye
know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son
of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this that if the Goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come,
he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to
give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, my lord delayed his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he
is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Chapter Ten
Jesus speaks to the Seven Spirits of the Church

Revelation 2:1-29 (KJV)

1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; these things saith he that holdeth the seven stars
in his right hand, who walked in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are
evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I
will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hates the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcomes
will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; these things saith the first and the last, which
was dead, and is alive;
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of
them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into
prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and
I will give thee a crown of life.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcomes
shall not be hurt of the second death.
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; these things saith he which hath the sharp
sword with two edges;
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwells, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my
name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr,
who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of
Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things
sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
64
HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my
mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcomes
will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new
name written, which no man knoweth saving he that received it.
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; these things saith the Son of God, who hath
his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the
last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou suffers that woman Jezebel,
which called herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and
to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation,
except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which
searched the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which
have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcomes, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the
nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to
shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:1-22 (KJV)

HARVEST LIFE GLOBAL NETWORK

1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; these things saith he that hath the seven Spirits
of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works that thou hast a name that thou lives, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found
thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore
thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come
upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk
with me in white: for they are worthy.
5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name
out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that
is true, he that hath the key of David, he that opened, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no
man opened;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou
hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but
do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have
loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of
temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out:
and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new
Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new
name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; these things saith the Amen, the
faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, have I will spue thee out of my
mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and
knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment,
that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine
eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will
come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and
am set down with my Father in his throne?
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Have an ear to hear what the Lord is saying to the Church of the Living God!
