RE: APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF A PROJECT OFFICER TB MANAGEMENT

(Referece No: SOROTI/007)

Dear sir/madam

I am writing to express my interest in the position of a project officer TB management with

Uganda Episcopal conference (UEC). I have known this organization as a Faith Led Action
to Sustain HIV Epidemic control (FLASH) in strengthening health systems in Uganda. Their
results have motivated me to join such a dynamic team in exploring my potential while
contributing to your success and developing my knowledge base. I am a graduate with
diploma in clinical medicine and community health and certificate in good clinical practice
and human subject protection related to human subject research and routine patient care.

My previous experiences while working at Kumi hospital in ART/TB care delivery enabled
me realize an enrollment of 76 new clients into care, 80% patient retention and 10%
reduction in mortality in three years (2019-2021). These were remarkably better results
compared to 2019. I managed a medical Centre in a semi urban setting within karamoja
region, I have gained hands-on skills in team planning, coordination of routine
administrative, operational and financial activities of a narrowly defined funded program.

Currently, I am a team leader on the HSM study with IDRC, the experience, language
dynamics and adaptability make me a competitive candidate for the job. Attached here in is
my resume and academic testimonials that detail my suitability for this position.

I would appreciate to be contacted for interviews on Tel; +256-777277364.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

OPUS STEPHEN
