Can you name a few of the songs that he performed and popularized?
After the presentation of the pictures, the teacher will then prepare an audio speaker for
the students to hear a song from the singer. The song is entitled, “Heal the World” by
Michael Jackson. After listening to the song, the teacher will then ask questions.
Directions: Listen to the song “Heal the World” and ponder on the message it conveys by
answering the questions that follow. A sheet of the lyrics will be provided by the teacher
for you to be guided as you listen along to the song.

D. Discussion
The teacher shares important details about the topic to the students through the use of
the prepared printed hand-outs or supplementary materials. This is to give additional
insights to the students for better understanding.
The teacher will let the students share their knowledge of what they know about making a
stand and uses praises for student encouragement. The teacher will also point out some
Filipino-Mother Tongue terms and topics taken from the integrated subject for better
understanding and learning insights.
After discussing on how to make a stand, the teacher will then insert a related topic. The
topic will be about the Argumentative Essay and Techniques in Argumentation.
To fully understand the topic, the teacher presents three (3) sets of individualized
activities for varied learning strategies. The students will be divided into groups, yet the
activities will be individualized for safety and precautionary measures.
Directions: Study the sample speech then answer the questions that follow.

Activity for the Group 2: Stand Up for Good!
This activity will be assigned to the visual learners.
Directions: Study the picture below and answer the questions that follow.

Activity for the Group 3: Evaluate Me!
This activity will be assigned to the auditory learners.
Directions: Pick out the issue presented on the lines taken from a particular song. Give
your stand and explain why you say so.
The teacher will give the students time to answer the following activities that they are
assigned to and will also facilitate the learning of the students through the set of
individualized activities. After answering, the teacher will call out a few volunteers from
each group to share their answers and insights to the class. The use of praises will also
follow for student encouragement.
E. Generalization
After the activities, the teacher will ask a few questions to the students.
F. Application
The teacher gives another activity for the students to apply what they have learned
throughout the discussion and activities that were given to them.
