    - ‘All intellectual work depends on interest.’ Piaget says. While play is the children’s greatest interest,
    try to ask, can play and learning be integrated? Of course, Play and learning are exist together, they are
    cannot be separated. When children are playing, their sensitivity and brain flexibility will be enhanced,
    but also develop the children’s perseverance and resilience. Children through play to learn and explore
    more ability. So, playing is not necessarily all bad, but the key is to playing in moderation and play
    some puzzle game. Learn through play, it can be said that this is a good teaching method.

    In this assignment, i had create a education game set for children. Which can teach children about
    the manner word and i create this game set is for 6 years old children. It game set called ‘Caterpillar
    Learn manner word. The uses of material include Manila card, colour paper, glue, water-colour, marker
    pen, pencil, scissors, mung bean and soil. I uses these material to hand made the ‘manner word flower’
    and ‘caterpillar’. Children can through these game set to learn about the uses of the manner word and
    they will understand when to use manner word. After that, this game also can development children’s
    fine-motor skill and gross motor skill. It is because that they need to use their hand to dig in the mung
    bean bowl and looking for the question. The touch of mung bean will explore and development their
    sensory system. Next, when they are find the questions, they need to run to the opposite table and find
    out the answer of the question. So, they will more understand about when to use manner word, it is
    because when they first have a concept of this, we can deepen his impression of this through play. Not
    only that, it game also can enhance children’s social and emotional development, It is because that in
    the second round of the game, i will put them in pair. Then, one of the group must be blindfolded and
    another one need to guidance for their friend to find the question paper and go the opposite table to
    choose the answer. In this way, children will learn to cooperate with other.

    For the instruction for the game, firstly, i will separate the children into two group, one group for 4
    children and i will let them to sit as a circle. Secondly, i will ask some question for the children such as
    “do you know what the manner word are?” and “you can give an example of manner word?”. After
    that, i will demonstrate the process of play for children and let them understand how to play. The first
    step, children need to use their hand into the mung bean and looking for the question paper. When they
    are find the question paper, they need to run to the opposite table and find out the answer and match the
    flower and caterpillar together. Next, children will be free to play and explore their all aspect
    development. At the end of the first round, i will increase the difficulty of the game. The children will
    be divided into pair and one of the them must be blindfolded. Another children will need to guidance
    the ‘blind friend’ to play the game.

    In conclusion, i strongly believe that children learn more effective through play. It is because that
    children is naturally lively and active, if want children sit on the chair and look at the whiteboard to
    learn, it is next to impossible. Through this assignment i had learn that it take a lot of patience to do
    manual work and i also hope that this game set and let children learn manner word in a fun way.
