SECTION – 2: (Only Integer Value Correct Type)

This section contains 5 questions. Each question, when worked out will result in one integer from 0
to 9 (both inclusive).

1. If the straight line drawn through the point P  
3,2 & inclined at an angle
6
with the x-axis,

meets the line 3 x – 4y + 8 = 0 at Q. Find the length PQ

2. The circle x 2  y 2  4x  4y + 4 = 0 is inscribed in a triangle which has two of its sides along the
coordinate axes. The locus of the circumcentre of the triangle is x + y  xy + K x 2  y 2 = 0.
Find absolute value of K

3. If 3x + 4y + k = 0 represents the equation of the tangent at the vertex of the parabola

16x2 – 24xy + 9y2 + 14x + 2y + 7 = 0, then find the value of k.
3 3
4. If the line y = 3x cuts the curve x + y = xy + 2 at the points A, B, C. If O is the origin, then
[OA. OB. OC] = __________ (where [.] denotes the greatest integer function).

5. From a point P (which lies on the axis of parabola) common tangents are drawn to the circle x2 +
y2 = a2/2 & parabola y2 = 4ax. Then the area of the quadrilateral formed by the common tangents,
the chord of contact of the circle and the chord of contact of the parabola is 15 a2/ λ, then the
value of λ is
