About LMCP
L M College of Pharmacy (LMCP) is a highly reputed institute, established in 1947 with a vision to
promote pharmaceutical education and science in all aspects. With a rich legacy of 75 years, it has
been leading in innovative research in pharmaceutical, biomedical and clinical sciences and practices,
promotes entrepreneurship, nurtures outstanding talent, and promotes human values. LMCP is
managed by Ahmadabad Education Society, a premier education trust. It is affiliated to Gujarat
Technological University and approved by AICTE and PCI. The college offers diploma, degree,
postgraduate and doctoral courses in Pharmacy over the years. The newly introduced Atal Incubation
Center, AIC-LMCP Foundation, that promotes innovation in entrepreneurship in pharma and
healthcare has added a feather to its cap. The college takes a lead role in organizing co-curricular
and professional activities like seminars and conferences by associating with professional
organizations and seeking support from governmental agencies
About LAARS
LMCP Alumni Association and Research Society (LAARS) was established in 1997, at the cusp of the
completion of 50 years of the institute’s establishment. LAARS along with LMCP had successfully
organized the Global Convention and Golden Jubilee celebrations in 1997-98 under the visionary
leadership of Shri Ramanbhai Patel. Stalwarts of the pharma industry who are also alumni of LMCP
have worked with a collective vision to make LMCP one of the finest institutes for Pharmacy education
and research, all over the world. It is a vibrant Association of alumni members committed to the
development of the institute in particular and the community and nation at large.

About the Convention
The convention is intended to discuss the recent advances in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The
globally renowned technocrats and professionals will be presenting the present trends and future paths
in community pharmacy, gene therapy, alternative medicines, Machine learning in clinical research,
drug discovery, regulatory affairs. One more attraction for the convention is the panel discussion on
“India- An Emerging Leader in Pharma and Healthcare Innovation”.
LMCP invites all pharma and healthcare professionals and students of pharmaceutical sciences and
allied courses to attend the program.
