COMPETITIVE REPLACEMENT

Booster
The replacement of competitive systems with the TEV or
STEV requires that the reservoir port of the TEV or STEV
valve be nipple mounted on the trailer tank. Either tank Control
may be used on a two tank trailer (only one tank is now
required on single axle trailers). If two tanks are used,
they should be connected by 1/2" O.D. tubing at their end
TEV
ports. In systems with dual compartment reservoirs, the or ABS
compartments should be treated as separate tanks and Relay
STEV
be connected by 1/2" O.D. tubing.
The accompanying schematics provide a guide for system
retro-fit. Many more systems are in use than can be Supply
shown here. Contact Tramec Sloan product support for
specific applications that are not shown.
