I think that fashion could be both, but not at the same time. For some people and some reasons
it could be art and for others it could be just a show business that brings money and no pleasure. It is a
wonderful think when fashion is seen as art, but mostly, in our society, fashion represents a profitable
business which is done only by obligation.
From my point of view, I could say that fashion must be art because there stands the sparkle
that makes is different from other jobs and gives color and craziness to our lives. If every human saw
fashion as art, there wouldn’t be a single sad and disappointed face.
From the other hand, fashion is a profitable show business that encourages everyone to try this
path and that is a sad think, because not everyone is suitable for this industry, it requires a lot of
spontaneous creativity and working under pressure and this is obviously not for everyone.
In conclusion, all I can say is that fashion is definitely art, not business, because it should be
done by heart, not by the smell of the money.
