INTRODUCTION

Soap is a common household product — that means pretty much

everyone uses this kind of detergent in some form or fashion. Soap is a

universal product that can be found in all homes, canteen, laundries, hotels and

toilets, and is a staple necessity, particularly among end-consumers at home.

Soaps are used for washing and bathing hence the demand for soap is hardly

affected by economic meltdown due to the important role the product plays in

our daily lives. 

Soap retailing companies are involved in marketing bar soaps, liquid

soaps, detergent, and other synthetic items, with different scent and packaging.

Major players in the soap retail industry do not just serve the market within the

locality they operate from, but also pave the way for business opportunities to

market products in various provinces. Thus, setting up a soap retail business

that offers online delivery and physical stores to sell cost-effective products can

be a useful and profitable way of doing business. When the COVID-19 pandemic

spread all over the world it had a huge effect on people's living and since

Filipinos are active on social media, it is a great opportunity for this business to

rise in the market.

The Soap Retailing industry is indeed a growing and thriving sector of the

economy of most countries of the world and they generate several millions of US

dollars annually from several registered and licensed small – scale, medium

scale and big soap retailing companies scattered all around the locality. Soap

retailing is a profitable industry open to entrepreneurs. With this kind of

business, if you want to start on a small scale, you can choose to start servicing

your local community. All you would need is contacts, packaging, networking

and good marketing and customer service skills. 

Over and above, the soap retail industry is open for any aspiring

entrepreneur to come in and establish his or her business; you can choose to

start on a small scale servicing a community or you can choose to start on a

large scale with a robust distribution network all across major cities. Thus,

starting a business whose products are used on a daily basis, such as these

soap products, is the sure way to go if indeed you want to spend less effort in

convincing people to make use of your products as a newbie in the industry.

According to Euromonitor International (2022), having been in double

digits during 2020, retail volume sales of laundry care were little better than flat

during 2021. Laundry care in the Philippines experienced a boost to sales in

2020 following the emergence of the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, which

resulted in some initial stockpiling of essential goods, including groceries and

home care products. 

Having said these, an increased number of entities have emerged in the

soap retailing industry, particularly in the Philippines, with local brands and

companies of MaxGlow, Sabon Stations, Sabon Depot, and many other retailing

entities for marketing these household items. However, according to Martins

(2021), despite the fact that loads of entrepreneurs are delving into soap making

business, the market for liquid soap is still pretty large and will still continue to

grow because it is a necessity for most homes, offices, canteens, laundry

shops, amongst others.

That means if you truly want to make it big in this business, you must be

willing to work hard to be able to gain your own fair share of the available

market. As such, if you are tinkering with starting a business that requires low

start – up capital and little training and technical skills, then you may want to

tinker with starting your own soap retailing company at small to medium scales.

Thus, Bubble Bliss Enterprise is a soap retailing business that shows the

public the wide variety of soap and household cleaning products with an aim of

promoting an affordable experience for all household members to maintain

cleanliness within the comfort of their homes, further establishing a clean

community in Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas, at very affordable prices, as

it establishes the brand presence both virtually and physically. There's also the

perception of affordability. Shoppers feel online has its advantages in terms of

more transparency through detailed product information. That leads to a feeling

of more openness and honesty. Customers can choose among the various

products and scents of soap and cleaning agents. 

Dishwashing and laundry soap will be retailed and sold at retail prices by

Bubble Bliss Enterprise, but once the company embraces corporate growth, we

plan to transition from marketing to manufacturing our own products specifically

for the company. We will be distributing and retailing cheap loose laundry

powder, Joy Dishwashing Liquid-grade dishwashing detergent, and Downy-like

fabric conditioner or softener, all of which are almost the same quality but are

available at lower pricing. These items are produced for large orders from the

supplier, and the company is thinking about rebranding to build its brand identity.

To force our product's excellence on the consumer, the packaging will be

upgraded.

Selling through this entity at affordable prices and a convenient variety of

transaction set-ups aims to help people who don’t want to leave their homes

because of the situation caused by this pandemic. To stop or lessen the

probability of spreading the virus, purchasing basic necessities of soap products 

in the proposed soap retail business helps our government and also the

consumers adapt to inflation and increasing prices of commodities amidst this

crisis. 

The proposed business will provide the customers with high-quality and

affordable soap products and cleaning agents. The sellers will assure the people

that our product is high quality and worth it to buy, given its gentleness to the

pockets and budgets of average and normal Filipino family / households,

particularly to those within the barangay, who are earning just enough money

and finds difficulties in attending the needs of the family, specifically due to the

lay-offs, increasing inflation and continuous economic downturn brought by the

pandemic.. The performance of these products in cleaning dishes and clothes

and other parts of the home, along with its scents, are very much similar to the

performance of leading brands. It seeks to provide value to households who are

struggling to suffice and keep up with the increasing prices of these commodities

brought by inflation, and looking to save time and money during these

busy and tough economic times in an easy and convenient way by patronizing

these products allowing them to save double their money. 

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, face-to-face interaction is limited

therefore, there will be limited transactions on the physical shop, however,

pickup and meetup are recommended. The funds to be used for resources

needed, production, and operation will come from the company’s budget and

capital. The company also plans to establish an important message to everyone

in the community; it is to take care of the environment even at the simplest ways

of consuming these staple household products. 

Bubble Bliss Enterprise is a business form of five-man partnership

wherein its business partners enjoy a protected investment. Each partner will

also make themselves available at all times as much as possible to complete

transactions within Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas. All of them shared

responsibility for work.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Bubble Bliss Enterprise commits itself on being a standard retailer of

various laundry and dishwashing soap products within Brgy. Manghinao Proper,

Bauan, Batangas, where customers are able to browse a wide variety of soap

products at sensible costs and is very accessible as it accepts orders online

despite having a physical store just to provide the needs of those people with

fear of leaving their houses because of the threat of pandemic. Bubble Bliss

Enterprise is aiming to be a mode of modern retail that emphasizes customer

satisfaction, innovative and able to compete in the midst of pandemic and to

satisfy the customers with a unique cleaning experience offering quality, variety,

price and service, based on the attention and commitment of the employees. We

are also in business to make profits at the same to give our customers value for

their money; we want to give people and businesses who patronize our soaps

and detergents the opportunity to be part of the success story of the company,

more importantly, for addressing the market need and gap on the increasing

prices of these commodities for typical Filipino families and households with low

to middle class monthly income. 

Bubble Bliss Enterprise is classified as a soap retailing store, so basically

the product that the business offer will include: dishwashing detergents,

powdered detergents, fabric conditioner, liquid bleach, and laundry bar soaps, all

of which are on specific volumes and scents that will cater the needs and

preferences of the end-consumers within the locality, at budget-friendly prices.

As a new business venture, in order to develop a unique strategy like expanding

the range of the business and attempting to enter the market online just to cope

up with the drastic changes in the market due to the pandemic.

Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas is a place that serves as home to a

slew of emerging enterprises, including sari-sari stores, eateries, restaurants,

fast food, computer shops, trading, pharmacies, and even online apparel. The

group came up with a list of the most commonly used household and industrial

items to produce and sell, as we believe this will effectively meet the needs and

demands of Manghinao Proper residents, given that these formulated retail

soaps and cleaning detergents were of comparable quality but were priced

significantly lower than leading brands. 

The entrepreneurs intend to open that enterprise in the vicinity because

most of them are unable to pay the price inflation of the leading brands and

prefer to utilize local products. As a result, in light of the growing number of

suppliers in other provinces, the business wants to break through or penetrate

into the local market by offering the pioneer distribution of these high-quality yet

economical household cleaning products at extremely low and cheap costs, that

is budget-friendly for typical Filipino families with low to average income. For our

start-up, we intend to progressively grow the business until we are able to

distribute to other barangays while maintaining the same high level of customer

service and competitive pricing. What's great about this business is that it gives

us an extensive set of opportunities to grow and penetrate the market, both

inside and outside of the province and neighboring communities or

municipalities. Considering that these household commercial products are one

of the most in-demand needs of the household, and given that it is used for

cleaning the dishes and laundry on a day-to-day or regular basis, it is one of the

staple household needs for everyday use. Having said that, Bubble Bliss will

serve as an emergent retail business in the barangay, and its main competitors

include the sari-sari stores that sell the branded commodities of dishwashing

liquid and laundry detergents.

The entity has a competitive advantage towards the competitors in the

field of pricing. With the prevalence of market competition of soap retail in Bauan

and considering the undifferentiated products that the entrepreneurs will be

selling, Bubble Bliss Enterprise will be going to set itself apart through exemplary

customer services, marketing campaigns, and the customer loyalty programs -

all of which can be made viable through extensive market research. The

business will stand apart through creativity, uniqueness, innovation, consistency,

customer relationships, and strong brand recognition efforts towards brand

loyalty of the customers. 

As our business capitalizes the potential market through online aside from

its actual store. Since in today's crisis the most accessible way of shopping wins

the heart of the customers, Bubble Bliss Enterprise is able to compete in the

midst of pandemic and to satisfy the customers with a unique shopping

experience offering quality, variety, price and service, based on customer's

satisfaction.

The business will open a small physical store in the heart and center of

the said locality to which it will operate, marketing on its specific niche, which the

target market is the household members and citizens of Brgy. Manghinao Proper

and other nearby vicinities, within 18-65 years of age. The entity will aim to

provide products on its target market/customer, all the households and end

consumers of Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas who seek to have an

affordable laundry and dish cleaning experience through our pure and high

quality products, that are remarkably competitive compared to leading brands, at

budget-friendly prices. The business targets to sell its products to female

household members, who are particularly from families with low to middle class

socio-economic status. The company will assure the products' affordability,

effectiveness, and strategies that will catch the people's needs and wants, and

through marketing efforts for the environment to heal from the pain of plastic

pollution.

Moreover, Bubble Bliss Enterprise is in the business of retailing of

dishwashing and laundry soap products, but as soon as the enterprise embraces

business growth, we are envisioning to move from retailing, to wholesaling, to

producing originally made products for the business. The entity will be

distributing and retailing cheap Ariel loose laundry powder, Joy Dishwashing

Liquid-grade dishwashing detergent, and Downy-like fabric conditioner or

softener, all of which are almost the same quality but are available at lower

pricing. Bubble Bliss Powershine Dishwashing Liquid is an all-purpose

dishwashing formula with antibacterial and grease-cutting power for a faster and

more efficient removal of grease, fats, and oils from dishes, pots, and other

kitchen utensils. Tough stains and dirt can be removed through Sabongga

Powdered Detergent. This powder detergent will help the market remove even

the toughest stains in just one wash, while brightening their white clothes to

make them look clean like new. Bubble Bliss Solace Fabric Conditioner is a

laundry product used for softening fabrics when washing clothes and used for

further boosting the fragrant scent or smell of newly-washed clothes. These

items are produced for large orders from the supplier, and the company is

thinking about rebranding to build its brand identity. To reinforce the quality of

our products in consumers' perceptions, the product packaging will be

upgraded. 

The entrepreneurs will work with a direct supplier from Cavite, Batangas

and Laguna to manage the shipping of our products. To ensure that the

rebranding terms and conditions are adhered to ethically, the supplier and the

business owners will come to an agreement over product quantities for bulk

orders. Entrepreneurs will monitor market and price changes, to choose

convenient capital cost for each product unit, and also offer a cheap selling price

to our consumers.

Market

With the prevalence and emergence of various soap retailing entities

within the locality and nearby areas to which the business will operate, Bubble

Bliss Enterprise seeks to establish an effective business plan in order to achieve

the company goals and to achieve a greater market. The existing market has

many competitors such as popular store like Sabon Stations, Sabon Depots,

Sabon Nation,  Blaze Clean, Lazada and Shoppee online shops, and retail

stores located in Bauan Public Market, we will in order to develop unique

strategy like expanding the range of the business and attempting to enter the

market online just to cope up with the drastic changes in the market due to the

pandemic.

The entrepreneurs spent time and resources to conduct our feasibility

studies and market survey so as to enable us locate the business in an area that

will support the growth of the business and also for us to be able offer much

more than our competitors will be offering.

Given that there is still a pandemic, the market grows slowly due to the

massive effects of it. However, researchers reveal that through using online

platforms to advertise the product and raise brand awareness, businesses help

the market to progressively arise. The pandemic greatly influences the major

trends in the target market. In terms of consumer preferences, they want to allot

their money on more useful and dual-purpose products. The demographic shifts

affect the buying behavior and perception of consumers. Furthermore,

consumers nowadays are seeking for a product that is worth spending for and

offers many uses and advantages. 

Strategic Actions

The business has laid out a long-term strategy for achieving a set of goals

or objectives in the following sections of this business proposal. And the

company's objectives are to achieve success, improve ways and means of

competing assertively in the sector, provide reliable and exemplary customer

service, particularly in the soap retailing industry, and be the premiere

wholesaler and retailer of daily household cleaning agents, such as that of soap

products. Bubble Bliss Enterprise provides easy access to the products required

by the public. This goal will be achieved by creating additional creative

marketing campaigns and advertisements, online posting, making flyers and

selling them directly to customers with well-known good products and services.

Through this, it will be hassle-free as goods are being handed over to your store.

Current Business Position

In our current situation, the first thing to consider is the quality of products

we deliver to our customers’ door. We are also looking to double our manpower

to fill all departments with additional assistance thus further expedites the

transaction in all departments. As of its emergent years of operations, Bubble

Bliss Enterprise will be formed by a legal structure with 5 fundamental

departments, of Finance, Sales and Marketing, Logistics and Delivery, Store

Operations, and Stocks Processing.

Managerial and Technical Expertise of Key Personnel

As we moved on to the managerial and technical expertise of key

personnel, our business ensured that the proponents of our business were fully

dedicated and the personnel were all highly skilled and well experienced,

relative to the position or department to where they were assigned. They should

have a high degree of integrity and always have concern for new ventures.

Furthermore, all personnel are willing to learn and understand what they do not

know yet in order for our business to achieve success.

Financial Requirements

For the capital,we came up with a starting amount of five hundred eighty

thousand pesos (₱580,000). In this amount we already consider the different

major needs in putting up the business, including initial capital for the products

from the supplier, along with legal documents and permits, branding, advertising,

and other rental fees to be incurred in establishing the business. We plan to buy

an estimated worth of ₱140,000 soap products and ₱19,500 for managing the

business requirements such as business permit, license, transfer, certifications,

and all other legalities required to start the business. For establishing the store

location, we plan to lease on a property in Brgy. Manghinao Proper, which is

beside the highway, near hospitals and other establishments. The estimated rent

cost is at ₱7,000, monthly, while the rest of the remaining funds are for cash

contingencies, investment on fixed assets, and other operational expenses, to

be incurred upon opening the business. The aforementioned amount will come

from both debt and equity financing, and all the entrepreneurs will invest the

equal sum of initial capital for equal distribution of income upon running the

business. Having an organized financial requirements are significant in our

business due to the fact that it shows where all the funds have been and as well

as headed to. We make sure that the net income of our business will remain

steady and the return of our investment plus the increasing growth will be

expected before the target period of time. Our capital is all reasonable and

expected to recover immediately in order for us to have a consistent internal

return of investment. This will make sure that all the cash flow, sales growth and

movement on the projections of our business is controlled and monitored.

Despite the fact that loads of entrepreneurs are delving into soap

retailing business, the market for liquid soap is still pretty large and will still

continue to grow because it is a necessity for most homes, offices, canteens,

laundry shops, amongst others. Soap retail companies are involved in selling bar

soaps, liquid soaps, and detergent, with different scent and packaging, all at

suggested retail prices. Major players in the soap retail industry do not just serve

the market within the locality they operate from, but also it paves the door of

business opportunities to distribute across other provinces and cities. Moreover,

Washing Powder, Soap and Synthetic Detergent retailers market various soap

products - laundry soap, transparent soap, translucent soap, toilet soap,

medicated soap, industrial soap, soap flakes, soap powder, and synthetic items.

Synthetics include laundry and dish detergents. IBIS World research shows that

in the previous five years, overseas soap manufacturers have competed heavily

in the Soap, Washing Powder, and Synthetic Detergent business. Foreign

domestic demand. In 2019, the global laundry detergent market was valued at

just under 120 billion U.S. dollars. The market's value is projected to keep

growing with each consecutive year, reaching about 180 billion U.S. dollars by

2026. Revenue in the Dishwashing Detergents segment amounts to US$0.81bn

in 2022. The market is expected to grow annually by 3.15% (CAGR 2022-2026).

Anent to this, the name of the company is Bubble Bliss Enterprise in which its

legal entity is a five-man partnership, managed by entrepreneurs, Anna Kathrina

Landicho, Gwen Ashley P. Dela Pena, May C. Dalangin, Shaira Mae U. Olano,

and Kurt Russel Casa. It is also known as “silent partners” wherein they are only

liable for the sum they invested in the business. Business partners signed an

agreement regarding the company’s terms and policy, length of the partnership,

and decision making and resolving disputes. The shareholders of Bubble Bliss

Enterprise will invest an equal amount for the business capital.

Bubble Bliss Enterprise is in the business of retailing dishwashing and

laundry soap products. It sells a complete line of non-toxic, environmentally

friendly and affordable dishwashing and laundry soap.These products are made

for bulk orders from the supplier and will be considering rebranding to establish

brand image of the enterprise. Most household members in Manghinao Proper

can't afford the rising price of top brands, so they favor local brands.To fill the

market gap in terms of pricing and volume, Bubble Bliss Enterprise will sell

laundry and dishwashing soap but per kilo, all of which are almost the same

quality as leading brands but of cheaper prices.

The owners considered the most commonly used household and

cleaning detergents of the same quality but priced significantly lower than

leading brands will effectively meet the needs and demands of Manghinao

Proper residents and even the other barangay next to us. We intend to open this

This section describes who will manage the business, the individuals behind

the business, including a list of the owners, staff,  and what knowledge these

individuals bring to the organization, and what special or unique qualities they

offer. An organizational chart depicting the management structure and

responsibility for important functions, as well as position descriptions for key

staff. In addition, the logistics will be reviewed in this section, including the

responsibilities of each member of the management team, the tasks given to

each division, and the salary expense.

Process of Securing Licenses and Permits

The Bubble Bliss enterprise complies all legal operating requirements:

I. Barangay Business Clearance

-document which entitles and enables a business to legally operate and do

business in the area in which the business is registered. In short, the Business

Permit can be considered as a “license to operate” within the specific area.

II. Enterprise registration from Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)

III. The registration to Bureau of Internal Revenues (BIR)

the Certificate of Registration issued by SEC, and register the books of

accounts you are required to annually register with BIR.

IV. The application of building and electrical inspection permit

-ensure that construction and major renovations or operations of electrical

equipment comply with local bylaws, building codes as well as health and

safety standards.

V. Sanitary permit

-secured by the local health authority and ensure that it’s safe for a business

to operate. It is a certificate that confirms that the facility or establishment

has been inspect and meets the requirements needed.

VI. Mayor’s Permit

-similar to the barangay clearance, the mayor's permit or business permit

ensures that your business complies with all the ordinances of the particular

municipality or city has its own set of ordinances.

Form of Business Organization

The members of the group have decided to form a partnership in order to

run the business they are preparing to open. Anna Katharina Landicho, Gwen

Ashley P. Dela Pena, May Dalangin and Shaira Mae Olano are the individuals

responsible for managing the store. The partners divide any earnings or losses

that may occur. Each of the partners will own an equal number of shares in the

business.

coordinate regarding the entire system and process of restocking or refilling

the inventory, to make sure that sufficient quantity of products can be made

available.

The degree to which a candidate's skills and experience fit the job

making a hiring decision. Because this is a tiny business with just five positions

to fill, the owners opted to distribute the jobs evenly rather than go through the

lengthy process of reviewing applications and interviewing the best candidates.

As a result of this, the owners are given jobs based on their qualifications and

strategy. The marketing plan should draw on marketing research. It should

market, the positioning of the product or service, the pricing strategy, the sales

and distribution channels, and the promotion strategy.

Product Description

Bubble Bliss Enterprise, upon its inauguration or emergence in the

market, will start with three products, namely: Bubble Bliss Powershine

Dishwashing Liquid, Bubble Bliss Sabongga Powdered Detergent, Bubble Bliss

Solace Fabric Conditioner, Bubble Bliss Clean Swift Liquid Bleach, and Bubble

Bliss Pristine . The products are consumer-grade laundry and dishwashing soap

products that can treat water so that it may be used to clean cutlery and some

other household items. The soap has special qualities that allow it to remove

stains and may thus be used as an abrasive. Its characteristics soften water

primarily breaking down organic components, allowing foaming qualities to be

stabilized while also improving the visual features of diverse surfaces. It will take

an environmentally sustainable approach to marketing and packaging. Indeed,

adopting environmentally friendly methods is likely to encourage environmentally

concerned consumers to purchase the company's products. Bubble Bliss

Enterprise would promise that customers will avail satisfaction of being

convenient, high-quality household cleaning agents and very affordable prices.

Bubble Bliss Enterprise would be located within Manghinao Proper, Bauan

Batangas, and will become a licensed as well as standard soap retailing

company. The business is in the soap-retailing industry, and it is looking to

significantly increase our sales of dishwashing and laundry soaps and increase

its market share by 30% upon penetrating the market. Aside from that, we’re in

business to earn money while also giving our customers good quality products;

we want to provide people and companies that buy our soaps an opportunity to

become a part of Bubble Bliss Soap Production Company's success story.

We were indeed aware that there are many other small and large soap

production companies distributed throughout Batangas, whose product lines can

be found throughout every single corner of the country, so that is why we spent

time and effort conducting feasibility studies as well as market surveys to enable

us to track down the business in a location that would support its growth as well

as to be able to offer even more than our competitors. We made sure our

building was easy to find, and we have plans in place to build a large distribution

from dishes, pots, and other kitchenware and utensils. It has its brand

tagline, “Tough on grease, gentle to your budget.” It penetrates and

emulsifies heavy grease and food particles, mild and gentle to the hands,

and easily dissolves in water. This is significantly useful for households in

washing, cleaning and ensuring a safe and healthy food consumption in

the kitchen family occasions, by allowing the households to clean the

used kitchenware and utensils. This is the dishwashing soap that cleans

dishes, sinks and counters while leaving behind a wonderful fresh scent.

It is pleasant-smelling, tough on food-stains, gentle on hands and most

at Mantsa,” this powder detergent will help the market remove even the toughest

stains in just one wash, while brightening their white clothes to make them look

clean like new.It is a wholesale distribution that happens through bulk orders of

laundry powder in sacks. It is a powder detergent that is made using a synthetic

surfactant in place of the metal fatty acid salts, which are used in soaps. Made in

powder form, these detergents are also sold as laundry powders, hard surface

cleansers, etc. It provides the same quality of laundry performance to other

branded items in the grocery, but of the lower price. This powder detergent will

products to the supplier. It will come in three (3) sizes, 500 kg. Pouch

(repacked); 1kg. Plastic bag (repacked); and 3 kg. Bucket, and prices, range

from 35 - 180 pesos. 

C. Bubble Bliss Solace Fabric Conditioner

Bubble Bliss Solace Fabric Conditioner, with its tagline, “Comfort of home

with your clothes,” is a laundry product used for softening fabrics when washing

washed clothes. Bubble Bliss Solace Fabric Conditioner is a Downy-like fabric

conditioner which performs almost exactly the same, but of course, this fabric

brand. It is a magical product which protects the fibers of your clothes and

makes them look, smell, and feel fantastic, as this product protects your clothes

and reduces friction or rough forces upon the laundry process, which helps

clothes keep their original shape, reduce color fading, and reduce pilling and

fuzz.

Bubble Bloss Clean Swift Liquid Bleach has a product tagline of, “Walastik sa

pag-alis ng dumi at putik.” is a chlorine-based solution used for general

disinfection and tough stain removal. It contains sodium hypochlorite as an

active ingredient which is effective in eliminating bacteria and whitening white

fabrics. Often called just bleach, it is a common chemical household product that

consists of a dilute solution of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) and other secondary

ingredients. It is a chlorine releasing bleaching agent widely used to white

clothes and remove stains, as a disinfectant to kill 99.9% of disease-causing

germs and viruses, and for several other uses, particularly for cleaning and

washing purposes. It offers a range of benefits to keep your home and laundry

The term “branding” refers to the process of identifying your company. It

is how your customers recognize and interact with your company. It is

represented in everything from the qualities, reputation, and aim of a business.

The proponent's of this soap retail business would be located within

Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas under the brand name "Bubble Bliss". The

entrepreneurs came up with the business name Bubble Bliss Enterprise

because the entrepreneurs believe that it is unique from other stores within the

locality and it provides symbolism of what the products are - bubbles

symbolizing soap products. Bliss, on the other hand, means a state of feeling or

perfect and pure happiness, contentment, and peace. The entrepreneurs have

used alliteration or the repeating initial sounds of consonants in the first syllables

of our brand name for customers to be able to easily distinguish and recognize

the brand. 

This logo will mainly be seen for increased brand recognition and for the

customer retention of our brand image and name to their perceptions and

The brand color chosen is blue. The blue color mainly represents

cleanliness, security, calmness, confidence, dignity, and loyalty. Those colors

have their own meaning that expresses our company’s value all in one. Also, it

creates an impression and say a lot about our brand. Blue and green are the

most commonly used brand colors in the soap industry, as it represents

cleanliness, purity, and elevates the perception of the market regarding the

quality of these products. In this regard, the entrepreneurs preferred to center its

brand color and brand name synchronized to how they are confident with the

quality of the products, along with how these high-quality and affordable

products may be able to provide cleanliness, security, and protection for the

household. Moreover, visible in the brand logo is an icon of bubble with a cloud,

that represents the entire explanation of the business name itself. The logo

comes with the business tagline, “Damit at plato, malinis at mabango, sigurado!”

This will embody how we want to be able to ensure the cleanliness of laundry

and the dishes through reselling products, at the same time ensuring the scent

and over-all shine of the household items where the products may be used.

Having said these, Bubble Bliss Enterprise is in the business of wholesale

distribution and retailing of dishwashing and laundry soap products, but as soon

as the enterprise embraces business growth, we are envisioning to move from

wholesaling, to producing originally made products for the business. We are

going to be distributing and reselling cheap products of Ariel loose laundry

considering rebranding to establish brand image of the enterprise. The products’

packaging will be improved to impose our product’s quality in the minds of our

target market, as we also include in the packaging, product labels and stickers to

make the customers entirely aware of our product, at the same time, establish

brand recognition for our company. Given that we will be a reseller or wholesaler

who will be rebrandinig these products, we will coordinate with a direct supplier

from CALABARZON, particularly in the provinces of Cavite, Batangas, or

Laguna, from which the products will be shipped here in Bauan, Batangas. The

supplier and the entrepreneurs will settle with an agreement regarding product

quantity for bulk orders and the rebranding terms and conditions to make sure to

abide by the ethical standards. These direct suppliers have been reached

through extensive research within the marketplace and communication with

other agents, to make sure that we can be directed to a supplier offering the

cheapest cost price for our products. These various suppliers from the three

provinces have been considered, and the entrepreneurs will constantly monitor

market and price changes, to choose the convenient capital cost for each

product unit to also offer a cheap selling price to our consumers. And we want to

give the impression of having a safe product that they can rely on to captivate

in the minds of our target market, as we also include in the packaging, product

labels and stickers to make the customers entirely aware of our product, at the

same time, establish brand recognition for our company. Because most

Our packaging materials are mostly comprising of eco friendly matters

such as paper bags and boxes. These materials are chosen to reduce

environmental menace because these substances are non- polluting and non-

hazardous. Boxes can be used for the deliveries and for heavy products bought

by the customer for them to be able to carry their purchases easier.

Bubble Bliss Enterprise packaging is a reused box from previous orders

to safekeep the product from damages like stains and the like, for large orders, if

there are any. Besides, to assure the product will be in good condition until once

it is already in the hands of a customer. Meanwhile, on the outer part of each

product, it contains a sticker that represents the brand name and the company

logo. 

For small purchases, it will be in paper bag containers. The entrepreneurs

decided to use a ribbon together with a printed logo paper for bottled products to

ensure that the product will remain in good shape. For seasonal events and

campaigns, the product packaging has three (3) inclusions which are two (2)

circular company stickers, a care card, and a flier. The enterprise will utilize eco-

friendly materials in its product packaging. In which, it supports the “No Plastic

Policy” herein Batangas, through encouraging the use of refill bottle containers

to refrain from the single-use of plastics.

available for use by the consumers. Bubble Bliss Enterprise selects omdirect

marketing channel. Consequently, they will sell the offered products indirectly

and will serve as a market intermediary, for producers to be able to market its

products to its target customer. For our business, the channel of distribution that

our business has is producer-wholesaler-retailer to the consumer. It is the

longest route in the distribution link but is very popular. It is used for the

marketing of a variety of consumer goods of daily use, particularly where the

demand is elastic and a large number of similar products are available. It is

where the wholesalers generally make bulk purchases from the producer, and

divide the goods into smaller packages to sell to the retailers. The retailers which

represent the entity of Bubble Bliss Enterprise, the business sell the goods to the

transactions and regulations set by the government on these entities.

Nowadays, the market seems to be slow-moving and only offers limited

opportunities. As one might expect, it is the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Still and all, marketers visualize a smart solution for this unexpected situation.

The market now utilizes new strategies to promote and reach out to their old

customers such as online posting and advertisement.  Through this, the buyers

and sellers can easily contact and connect with each other. More specifically, it

helps to build a healthy market competition.

Anent to this, the promotion is the communication channel for businesses.

Promotion is the marketing communication to persuade the target client on

buying or purchasing a certain product or services. The aim of promotion is to

increase awareness, create interest and to make customers aware that the

Social media is used by the vast majority of people nowadays. They

spend their time browsing and keeping up with current events and happenings.

The entrepreneurs view this as a fantastic chance to raise brand awareness and

a terrific platform to do so. In reality, social media is the ideal option for attracting

and connecting with potential customers in a sophisticated and technologically

advanced manner, in the most convenient, effective, efficient, and creative way.

Digital marketing and social media advertising, along with boosting promotional

tools in social media has been seen as an extremely ideal and effective way to

reach a wider segment of the target market and to communicate our products to

the households of Brgy. Manghinao Proper and other nearby areas.

In terms of online promotion and e-marketing, the entrepreneurs will set

up a Facebook and Instagram page for the business to inform, promote, and

Enterprise will advertise its products to its target market using a Facebook and

Instagram page. Different types of content, such as conventional Facebook

posts, pamphlets, and infographics, will be used to market the items. These

managed through posting various contents, such as: conventional Facebook

posts, aesthetic Instagram posts / feed, pamphlets, digital / Web Banners &

Posters, infographics, flyers, video feedbacks, and short clip advertisements.

our social media and webpage.

II. Personal Direct Selling 

Moreover, the entrepreneurs are also considering opening the enterprise

for embracing the old and traditional means of promotion and advertising, the

personal direct selling, yet making themselves aware of the limitations, in

compliance to mandatory health protocols and restrictions brought by the

pandemic. Having said these, since less restrictions are being implemented, the

entrepreneurs considered personal direct selling or physical transactions in our

physical store location. This is a form of traditional marketing strategy that will

never go out of trend, regardless of market changes and environmental

changes. Staff may simply persuade their new and existing clients to support

and purchase the product by using powerful word-of-mouth and good sales

talking abilities. Furthermore, communication is crucial in a company's attempts

to develop good customer connections since it is important in building and

maintaining any form of relationship. This promotional action can take place

personally, and not through online transactions, and hence, can happen in the

physical store or plant location of the product.  However, although the health

restrictions are less strict considering that Batangas is in Alert Level 1, the

entrepreneurs still consider the presence of the global crisis. During this

pandemic, the enterprise's first priority and center of concern is once again

social distancing and using face masks on physical transactions of delivery,

pick-up or even physical store transactions for the household members of

Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas and other nearby areas. To do this, the

people behind this business will also be supplementing other print materials of

small tarpaulins and print ads in front of the store location, to make the entire

neighborhood aware of the products offered by our business. The entrepreneurs

will also be showcasing a large tarpaulin for our brand to ensure that the logo,

Our target market/customer will be all the households of Manghinao

Proper, Bauan, Batangas who seek to have an affordable laundry and dish

cleaning experience through our pure and high quality products, that are

remarkably competitive compared to leading brands, at budget-friendly prices.

The business targets to sell its products to female household members, aged 18

and above, who are particularly from families with low to middle class socio-

economic status. Thus, considering the increasing number of suppliers across

other provinces, the entrepreneurs plan to penetrate the market within the

locality, by providing the pioneer distribution of these high-quality household

cleaning agents, at very affordable prices. 

Additionally, when it comes to selling dishwashing and laundry soap,

there are a number of alternatives. There is a wide range of clients available, but

of the locality. Thus, to define our target market the entrepreneurs are going to

look at three specific market variables. The first will be gender. The business

maintenance of cleanliness, and safekeeping of the home. Therefore, this

the entrepreneurs intend to market our product as being a more efficient

cleaning agent that can be used to wash off stains, dirt, and grease, given its

affordable price, in comparison to leading brands of dishwashing and laundry

consumption, considering the break-even income, only enough for the daily

family needs. Further, busy parents can go from purchasing two products to

purchasing one that can be universally used to clean their dishes. Volume usage

is the fourth and final segmentation variable that the entrepreneurs considered. 

Our product will be advertised in such a manner that it demonstrates that

you can achieve the same results with less of it than you would with a standard

want to stretch their peso farther than they could with our competitors' products.

The capital required to start and expand the business is clearly stated in

stock, if any, will be supplied to fund the project. For Bubble Bliss Enterprise, the

minimum capital requirement is around ₱561,800. The initial capital requirement

amounted to P580,000, including cash contingencies. In the aforementioned

amount, it includes initial capital for the products from the supplier, along with

legal documents and permits, branding, advertising, and other rental fees to be

incurred in establishing the business. The total fixed assets amounted to

₱248,900, with the operating capital totaling to ₱332,760.  Attached in this

Sources of Financing

The sources of financing allow improved chances of getting appropriate

financing to meet what the business needs. Presented in Table __ are the

funds will come from personal investments and commercial bank loans. The

partners will contribute ₱70,000 each, a total of ₱350,000 equity capital,

representing 60.34% of the total capital structure. Moreover, the business will

Financial Assumptions

It is vital to note that our financial projection is based on the information

acquired during our feasibility studies as well as some field-based assumptions

relating to similar businesses in Bauan.

We are certain that we are well positioned and will attract customers who

will not only purchase our laundry soaps and dishwashing detergents, but also

utilize our online and offline delivery service, thereby generating additional

revenue from these sources. The following financial forecast is based on the

location of our store and the services and products we will be providing the

following considerations. Cited in this section were the financial assumptions

formulated by the entrepreneurs upon establishing and running the business.

 The enterprise will operate as a 5-man partnership and will be

limited among the entrepreneurs who proposed this business plan.

 The year projection is made starting in January 2023.

 The company will generate its income through marketing and

promoting various soap products.

 Product costs are expected to increase by 5% every 3 years.

 Operating Supplies are expected to increase 1% annually.

 Sales of dishwashing liquid is expected to increase by 10%

annually, while for laundry powder, fabric conditioner, and other

soap products, it is projected to increase by 5% annually.

 The 13th month pay of the entrepreneurs is equivalent to one-

month basic salary.

 The depreciation expenses are computed using a straight line

method. The life span of the equipment is 5 years while the

furniture and fixtures are 10 years.

 Salaries of staff are expected to increase 4% in the first two years

of business operations.

 Ending office supplies and other supplies is estimated to be 20% of

the budget.

 Business permits and licenses are estimated to P 19,500.00,

including contingencies and will renew depending on its lifespan.

 Rent is estimated to be P 7,000.00 per month and is projected to

increase at 4% every 3 years.

 In terms of the Income Statement, the Gross Profit Margin is set to

be 65% of Sales, while the remaining part of Sales will represent

the amount of the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

 Upon the first years of operation, the business is at its state of

fluctuation, specifically on cash flow management, as it is still in its

transition period of establishing its brand presence to its specific

niche.

 Upon the second year of operation, the sales are projected to

increase by 5% every quarter.

Financial Statements

Financial statements are reports that detail the entity's financial information,

such as assets, liabilities, equities, incomes, and expenses, shareholders'

contributions, cash flow, and other related information over time. There are also

four (4) types of financial statements; (1) balance sheets; (2) income statements;

(3) cash flow statements; and (4) statements of shareholders' equity. It is

important to investors because they can provide a great deal of information

about a company's revenue, expenses, profitability, debt load, and ability to

meet short-term and long-term financial obligations.

Financial statements provide information about economic resources of the

reporting entity, claims against the entity, and changes in the economic

resources and claims. It is useful to primary users of financial statements in

assessing future cash flows to the reporting entity and assessing management

stewardship of the entity’s economic resources. The primary users are existing

and potential investors, lenders, and creditors.

Projected Income Statement

Profits and losses for a specific future period, such as the next quarter or

fiscal year are shown in a projected income statement. It follows the same

format as a traditional income statement, but instead of analyzing past data, it

forecasts the future. It is likely to be the most important financial statement for

the majority of users because it reveals a company's ability to generate a profit.

It covers the Bubble Bliss  Enterprise selling activities.

Every year's income results were positive feedback from the customers,

and because the product consistently brought a great income, we were planning

to make more and achieve greater success

One thing is certain when it comes to soap and detergent retail business, if your

soap and detergent are well –  packaged and branded and if your production

plant is centrally positioned and easily accessible, you will always attract

customers cum sales and that will surely translate to increase in revenue

generation for the business. Bubble Bliss Enterprise is well positioned to take on

the available market in every city where our soap and detergent will be sold all

across Brgy. Manghinao Proper and nearby vicinities and we are quite optimistic

that we will meet our set target of generating enough income / profits from the

first six month of operations and grow the business and our clientele base.

We have been able to critically examine the soap and detergent retail

industry and we have analyzed our chances in the industry and we have been

able to come up with the following sales forecast. The sales projections are

based on information gathered on the field and some assumptions that are

Bubble Bliss Enterprise is timely and relevant to the current market situation

of the society. Thus, it will be important and beneficial to the following:

To the target market. 

The business named Bubble Bliss Enterprise is located in Manghinao Proper,

Bauan, Batangas. The entity aims to gain numerous new and loyal customers,

establish better consumer relations, provide quality products and services, to

have affordable products, provide convenience to our target market and of

course for the business to be successful. But it doesn’t end there. The business

not only wants to satisfy our main goal of gaining profit but we should also

satisfy our secondary goal of contributing and helping the society as a whole.

government to use it in the beautification of our society.  It should be very clear

Upon proposing this soap retail business, the entrepreneurs thought of

the most commonly used household and industrial items to produce and sell, as

they believe that this will effectively meet the needs and demands of all

household members in Manghinao Proper, given that these formulated retail

soaps and cleaning detergents that were of the same quality but priced very

much lower than leading brands. To the beloved customers, Bubble Bliss

Enterprise seeks affordable laundry and dish cleaning experience through our

pure and high quality products, that are remarkably competitive compared to

leading brands, at budget-friendly prices. The entrepreneurs plan to put up that

business in the locality because most of these household members and end

consumers cannot afford the increasing price of those leading brands which lead

them to prefer to use local brands. The proposed business will provide the

customers with high-quality and affordable soap products and cleaning agents.

The company envisions itself to also slowly start embracing the overall

customization of volume orders for the customers to perfectly fit their budget and

needs. The sellers will assure the people that our product is high quality and

worth it to buy, given its gentleness to the pocket and budgets of the average

and normal Filipino families / household, particularly to those within the

a healthy environment. As the business operation grows over the years, the

team envisions itself to widen its relationships with other possible companies,

are packed using plastic bottles, the entrepreneurs are slowly envisioning retail
