Nature's fury
I'm on my way home,
Shaking my head in disgust, At what we have done, As I look out the window, A sudden chill passes through me, As a flash is all I see.
The sudden flash
That felt like years, A sight so horrific That left me in tears.
I don't think they know
What the future has in store for us, All I see is this uphill battle, Swallowing us whole without a fuss
There she stands in the distance,
Her fury growing, Sending signs to stay and retreat Signs we seem to foolishly ignore, Signs no more for we will soon lay there beat.
Her fury so evident,
Her fury grows at every step, But we continue to be foolish, But we continue to be oblivious.
It has happened before,
But we never learn do we? But we continue to be foolish, But we continue to be oblivious.
Its a battle we will never win,
Yet we go around building her fury, A step at a time, Unaware of how are going to suffer.
Our pain will grow,
Her fury will grow, The signs are evident, We still move forward, Until her fury, Consumes us all, Next time, Her revenge, An unstoppable force, Is what she will definitely show. Beware o beware, She has done this before, Unless we change, We shall exist no more.
