planets.

A. Recap about the previous The teacher will going to ask the students about
lesson what have they learned about the previous
topic:

B. Presenting new lesson The teacher will going to ask students:
(Engage) 1. DEFINE. Underline the term that best
completes the following sentences.

Venus/Earth/Mars is the largest terrestrial

After the short introduction of the new lesson,


the teacher will going to conduct an activity
where he/ she will perform it in front of the class
for a successful and fair observation. Also, the
teacher will going to provide a presentation with
a small discussion about on what happened as
the activity conducted with a guide of book.

C. Practicing new skills The teacher will give the first activity to the

this question.

E. Elaborate the Lesson The teacher will discuss the terrestrial planets
(Elaboration) and its definition, following with four (4) planets,
whish is Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. It
includes the properties, size, mass,
temperature, distance to the sun and its
difference to the geological surface from our
mother earth

F. Evaluating Students Learning The teacher will let the students answer the
(Evaluation) following:

 Why do temperatures on Mercury so


much?
 Why is Venus surface temperature so
high?
 What factors support life on Earth.
 What makes up the surface of the Mars?

G. Additional Activities The student will going to write on their Journal


(Extend) Notebook about on what have they learned
today. This journal notebook will be collected by
the end of quarter.
