HEALTH RISKS
Eye Contact: This product can cause transient mild eye irritation with short-term contact with liquid
sprays or mists. Symptoms include stinging, watering, redness, and swelling.
Skin Contact: This product can cause mild, transient skin irritation with short-term exposure.
Inhalation: At elevated temperatures or in enclosed spaces, product mist or vapors may irritate the
mucous membranes of the nose, the throat, bronchi, and lungs.
Chronic Health
Effects Summary: This product contains a petroleum-based mineral oil. Prolonged or repeated skin
contact can cause mild irritation and inflammation characterized by drying, cracking,
(dermatitis) or oil acne. Repeated or prolonged inhalation of petroleum-based mineral
oil mists at concentrations above applicable workplace exposure levels can cause
respiratory irritation or other pulmonary effects.
Carcinogenesis: This product has no carcinogens listed by IARC, NTP, NIOSH, OSHA, or ACGIH,
as of this date, greater or equal to 0.1%.
Teratogenicity and

4. FIRST AID
Take proper precautions to ensure your own health and safety before attempting rescue or
providing first aid. For more specific information, refer to Exposure Controls and Personal
Protection in Section 8 of this SDS.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by
medical Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical
attention if symptoms occur.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting
the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Skin Contact: After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Get
medical attention if symptoms occur.
NFPA Flammability
Classification: NFPA Class-IIIB combustible material.
Autoignition
Temperature: Not determined.
Hazardous
Combustion
Products: No specific data
Extinguishing
Media: Use an extinguishing agent suitable for the surrounding fire. Use foam, dry chemical
or water spray (fog) to extinguish fire.
Inappropriate
Extinguishing
Media: Straight Streams of Water.
Fire Fighting
Instructions: Evacuate area. Prevent runoff from fire control or dilution from entering streams,
sewers, or drinking water supply. Firefighters should use standard protective
equipment and in enclosed spaces, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Use
water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect personnel.
For large storage fires involving this material and/or other lubricating products, do not
enter any enclosed or confined space without full protective equipment including self-
contained breathing apparatus to protect against potential hazardous combustion or
decomposition products, and oxygen deficiencies.
Spill Management: Small Spill: Absorb with an inert dry material and place in an appropriate waste
disposal container.
Dispose of via a licensed waste disposal contractor.
Environmental
Precautions: Large Spills: Dike far ahead of liquid spill for later recovery and disposal. Avoid dispersal of
spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers. Inform the
relevant authorities if the product has caused environmental pollution (sewers, waterways,
soil or air). May require removal of severely contaminated soil.
Waste Disposal
Method: Place contaminated material in disposable containers. Material must be disposed of in
accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Contact the RCRA Superfund Hotline
directly @ (800) 424-9346, a regional US EPA office, or an authorized waste management
facility to provide guidance concerning case specific disposal issues.
Storage: Store in accordance with local regulations. Store in original container protected from direct
sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, odorous and toxic fumes may form from the
decomposition of the product if stored at excessive temperatures for extended periods of
time. Keep away from incompatible materials, food and drink. Keep container tightly closed
and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed
and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in unlabeled containers. Use appropriate
containment to avoid environmental contamination.
Environmental
Eye Protection: Safety eyewear should be used when there is a likelihood of exposure. Not
required under normal conditions of use. Recommended: Faceshield or
goggles.
Hand Protection: Use gloves appropriate for work or task being performed. Not required under
normal conditions of use. Recommended: Impervious protective gloves of
Viton or nitrile rubber
Respiratory Protection: Respirator selection must be based on known or anticipated exposure levels,
the hazards of the product and the safe working limits of the selected
respirator. Not required under normal conditions of use. If exposure limits are
exceeded use a NIOSH approved respirator. Self contained breathing
apparatus is recommended for entry into confined spaces or other poorly
ventilated areas and for large spill clean-up sites.
Body Protection: No special protective clothing is required under normal conditions of use.
Where spills and splashes are possible, wear appropriate oil impervious
protective clothing. Clean water should be available in work areas for
flushing the eyes and skin.
Hazardous Decomposition
Products: Carbon oxides and various hydrocarbons formed when burned – traces of
sulfur oxides.
Conditions to Avoid: Keep away from extreme heat, sparks or open flames.
Hazardous
Polymerization: Not expected to occur.
Skin Contact: Product that under high pressure has been forced under the skin may cause serious
cell damage/death under the skin.
Carcinogenicity: This product has no carcinogens listed by IARC, NTP, NIOSH, OSHA, or ACGIH, as of this
date, greater or equal to 0.1%.
Ecotoxicity: Analysis for ecological effects has not been conducted on this product. However, if
spilled, this product and any contaminated soil or water may be harmful to human,
animal, and aquatic life. Also, the coating action associated with petroleum and
petroleum products can be harmful or fatal to aquatic life and waterfowl. Not harmful
to aquatic organisms. Expected LC/EC 50 value > 100 mg/l.
Environmental
Fate: An ecological effect testing has not been conducted on this product. However, plants
and animals may experience harmful or fatal effects when coated with petroleum-
based products. Petroleum-based (mineral) lube oils will normally float on water. In
stagnant or slow-flowing waterways, an oil layer can cover a large surface area. As a
result, this oil layer might limit or eliminate natural atmospheric oxygen transport into
Waste Disposal
