The pressure relief valve is a direct- MTTFd: 150 - 1200 years,
acting, spring-loaded poppet valve. according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1
Its function is to relieve pressure in
Installation: No orientation restrictions
the system. The spring exerts a force
on the poppet and presses it on the Materials: Valve body: steel
valve seat. On the opposite side, the Poppet: hardened and
system pressure exerts force on port 1 ground steel
of the valve. Only if the hydraulic force Seals: NBR (standard)
exceeds the pre-set spring tension does FKM (optional, media
the valve open and flow is diverted to temperature range

tank via port 2. This continues until the -20 °C to +120 °C)
system pressure is equal to the spring Back-up rings: PTFE
tension and the valve closes again.
Cavity: FC08-2
Attention: A pressure at port 2 increases
the pre-set pressure! Weight: 0.22 kg
