    DONUT AMIGURUMI

    Make 2, one in taupe and one in the frosting color

    Round 1: ch 24, sl st into 1st st to form a ring, do not twist. * sc in 5 st, 2 sc* repeat * to

    Round 3: * sc in 4 st, 2 sc* repeat * to * around (42)
    Round 4: * sc in 5 st, 2 sc* repeat * to * around (49)
    Round 5: * sc in 6 st, 2 sc* repeat * to * around (56)
    Round 6-8: sc in each st around (56)
    Cut yarn leaving long tail
    Repeat for the other side

    Before we sew the 2 pieces together, we will first embroider the sprinkles Take
    whatever color (s) for the sprinkles and cut a piece about 12’’ long and put it on a yarn
    needle. Sew on your sprinkles. Use as many colors as you want. Be sure to knot the
    ends, so they won’t come undone.

    We will now sew the middles together. Hold the 2 pieces together with the wrong sides
    facing each other. Stitch them together with the tail from either piece.

    Once you get all the way around the middle, knot your yarn. Now, you can start
    stitching the outside together. I whip stitched around, a little at a time then stuffing as I
    went along. Once all the way around, knot and weave in end.
