Prologue:
Wife: I need some cash in order to pay our bill. (Facing her husband)
mind?! A-and... When did start gambling?! You even keep from me!!
Husband: Im sorry Hon, I promise not to gamble again and i will work
hard for our needs. Im
sorry (Desperate)
Wife: How can I not worry?! (In tears) If we dont have money to even
pay our bills, what do
Wife: (deep sigh) Just make sure that by tommorow we can pay our
bills....... I... I seriously don’t
(After his wife left the kitchen, she called her friend)
Husband’s Friend: No worries, if you want to, I could endorse you a job
here at my company.
Narration: The family was devastated by the news. Even though they
had a job, it wasn’t enough to cover their elder’s college expenses. The
following day, mother had to pretend not to be concerned about
housing bills in order to not worry their children. She was forced to

Middle: Yes, and please don't lie. We want to know what happened.
Dad: We are so sorry, (sigh) we're struggling for money even to pay
your tuitions is already
hard. But we promise to find a way. We are going to ask your aunties
and uncles.
Mom: (in tears) Me and your dad will find a way just to give your needs.
(Skip the next day, mother ask her family some help, a family that is
not worthy to call one, thus
Mom: Hey sis, uhm... Do you have some money i can borrow?
Moms Sister: I do but I am going to buy some new clothes and I need it
for my vacation.
Mom: Sis its an emergency. We dont have enough money to pay your
nephew's tuition. I need your help. Please.
Mom: Can I borrow your money? Don’t worry mom, I’ll pay u.
Mom: But mom, its for your grandchild’s tuition fee. They needed it
badly.
Mother’s mom: Go away! Your such a ungrateful kid. Why did I have a
daughter like you?
Narrator: The elder had to stop learning for a while the next day,
which was heartbreaking. Despite wanting to cry, she kept her
composure and vowed to help her parents take care of her siblings. Due
to their new occupations, Mother and Father had to put in extra hours.
They rarely. Returned home during the day, and because of their
circumstances, they had to deal with more severe hardship. Mother,
who was too dissatisfied by her husband’s actions and unable to accept
that their elders had stopped learning, had a chilly relationship with
them. At home, the eldest took care of her siblings as if they were her
own children, providing for them both at home and at school. Even
though their situation is making them miserable, they had a sibling’s
commitment to never give up.
Youngest: Why haven’t mom and dad come home yet? We're hungry.
Elder: Let’s play first while mom is not here (Started playing)
Youngest: Mom, it’s good that you came, we’re hungry. (She greeted
her mother.) Where are
Mother: I am looking for a way to earn more. (Put her bag on the chair.)
Mother: Oh, you’re here. (Greeted without lifting her head and
continue eating.)
Elder: Where are you from, dad? We miss you. (Children nod their
head.)
Father: Good evening. Daddy is working overtime for you. (Pat their
heads.)
Father: If your done, go to your room. Your mother and I will just talk
about something.
Mom: Is this about your doing, then spare me, I’m stressed. (Went to
sink to wash dishes)
Dad: (Sigh in defeat) I’m terribly sorry, I regretted a lot. I’m sorry.
Mom: (Done washing) (Faced him) I’m mad and disappointed of what
you’ve done. (In tears)
Dad: I didn’t mean it, I thought that i would gained more money if I
played and won, but it
Didn’t. (Silently crying while saying it)
Mom: You know, I wish you had used your brain first in any
circumstances. Look now, the
Elder: No. (Hug them) Mom and Dad won’t allow that to happen, trust
me. Okay?
Narrator: (The siblings only get nod as they hold their Elder’s words)
Mom: (shaking her head) It’s shameful to ask money to my family, but
seeing our children
Hurting in our state right now, it’s painful. (Walks away going to their
room)
Where is it?
Middle Child: (stop playing) Huh? I didn’t. (put down his cellphone)
for submitting?
Middle Child: Mom, if this will make tired from working to earn for my
athlete, then no, I’m not
joining.
Mom: (Singh) (Sit next to her son) Son, me and your dad have enough
money for you to. We are
not only working for your sister’s college tuition, we are working for all
of you. Don’t worry
about mom’s tiredness, it’s normal to feel that. You should not worry
anything about, okay?
Middle Child: (nodding) so.... I can join this season games Mom?
