Company Background Information

JONPE Limited was established under the Companies Ordinance Act (CAP 212) in April 2nd,
2002. The Company registration Number is 43286. JONPE was established and set up as a
wholly indigeneous-owned Enterprise dealing mainly with rendering Industrial Nondestructive
Testing (NDT) services to Oil and Gas Industries. Other servises that JONPE renders are Product
supply, Destructive testing and Industrial Technical Consulting servises.
JONPE Limited is a limited liability company, and its internal ultímate authority is the Board of
Directors. The Managing Director is held exclusively responsible for Daily Company
Management.
The main two departments of the company include the Technical Support Department and
Finance and Administration Department.

Since its founding in Dar es Salaam in year 2002, JONPE Limited has become the leading
supplier of NDT expertise services in East and Central Africa. JONPE is the leading NDT
service provider in Tanzania. The company has expanded its operations in Democratic Republic
of Congo (DRC), Mozambique and Rwanda.

JONPE LIMITED TEAM

1. Nyomwa P. Kilemo - Managing Director.

Mr. Kilemo is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He is Mechanical Engineer
holding B.Sc(Eng) from University of Dar es Salaam, 1988. He has NDT experience of
25 Years. He received NDT Level II at NDE Institute of Canada- Hamilton ON in 1996.
He also received NDT Level II in South African Institute of Welding – Johannesburg SA
in 2002. He also attended Welding Technology and Inspection course at Central
Metallurgical Research and Development Institute – Cairo Egypt in 1990.

2. Julius J. Mbago NDT Level III.

Mr Mbago holds Full technician Certificate in Metrology from Business College in Dar
es Salaam, in 1990. He achieved NDT Level III from Southern African Institute of
Welding in 2004.

3. John V. Kalihamwe – Technical Director.

 Mr. Kalihamwe holds Full Technician Certificate in Mechanical from Dar es Salaam
Institute of Technology in 1986. He is NDT Level I from Tanzania Industrial and
Development Organisation TIRDO in 2006. He is NDT Level 2 from Trinity Institute of
NDT – Bangalore,India 2018.
4. Philbert F.Telekako. Finance and Administration Director.

Mr. Telekako holds Bachelor degree in Economics. He is also a statistician. He worked in

various institutions like Bureau of Statistics, Tanzania Revenue Authority and Kanyote
Clearing Agency. He is accounting and finance professional. He is also the team
administrator.

5. Wenslaus Edward – Level II (RT, UT) and Level III (MPI, PT) - Technical Manager

Mr. Edward holds Mechanical Engineering master’s degree from University of Dar es
Salaam in 2014. He achieved NDT Level III and II from Southern African Institute of
Welding in 2008/2010. He has 9 years experience in NDT discipline. Before joining the
company Mr. Edward worked with various NDT company including Tanzania Industrial
Research and Development Organization in Tanzania and Detect Unit Inspection at
Koeburg Nuclear Power Station located at Capetown South Africa. He is NDT Level 2
from Trinity Institute of NDT – Bangalore,India 2018.

6. Abdul Thabit – NDT Operator.

Mr. Thabit is a Full technician certificate holder from Dar es Salaam Institute of
Technology in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently an NDT operator.

7. Freddy Mbawala – Electrical Technician

Mr Freddy is an electrical technician from Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology. He is

an electrical technician of the Company.

8. Peter Chande - NDT Operator

Mr. Peter is a Full Technician from Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology and is NDT
Level I from Polish school of NDT in Poland and SAIW. He worked TIPER refinery in
NDT Department before joining JONPE.

9. Erick Charle – NDT Trainee

Mr. Erick is a Full technician certificate holder from Dar es Salaam Institute of
Technology in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently an NDT trainee.

10. Sadiki Kilalawe – NDT Operator

Sadiki was an NDT Operator from MMK a Swedish Company before he joined JONPE.
11. Benson Runyoro – NDT Operator
Ben is an NDT Operator Trainee at Jonpe Limited sites.
