4 ANCHOR : In the news, During the Virtual Meeting of the Kapihan sa

5: Manila Bay, Senator Richard Gordon said that the

6: former health Secretary Paulyn Ubial, notifies the netizens

7: that the saliva test recommendation had reached the

8: desk of Secretary Francisco Doque and now waiting for

9: its approval. The said test offers a cheaper and less painful

10 : viral collection compared to the swab test. According to the

11 : PRC, the processing time for saliva samples are shorten

12 : and was said that it would only take three hours, compared

13 : to swab tests, which takes to six or seven hours. The saliva

14 : test too doesn’t need specimen collector nor skilled

7 NEWSPRESENTER 1 : US Biotech firm Moderna released their early results from a

8: clinical trial with more than 30,000 participants, after US

9: pharmaceutical company Pfizer and its German partner

10 : BioNTech said that their vaccine was 90% effective.

11 : plans to submit applications for emergency

12 : approval in the US and around the world within weeks,

13 : and said that 20 million doses are ready to ship in the US

14 : by the end of the year. The Moderna Vaccine, is given in

15 : two doses, 28 days apart, and the preliminary results were

16 : based on 95 voulunteers of the 30,000 people who fell ill

17 : with the virus. However, their vaccine can remain stable at

18 : standard refrigerator temperature with 2-8 degrees Celsius

19 : and lasts up to 30 days. But the company added that the

20 : vaccine will last up to 6 months when stored in a standard

21 : freezer temperatures of -20 degrees Celsius.

13 : not yet listed on what brand of Covid-19 vaccines they will

14 : get. Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, a spokesperson of the DOH-7

15 : said in an interview that they have not received the full list

16 : of the upcoming vaccines that will soon to arrive in our

17 : country. However, there are some speculations that they

18 : will be getting either of the AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Sinovac,

19 : She also added that if they have the full list of the vaccines,

20 : they would release it to the press and for the public to know.

14 : headquarters of the 7th Infantry Batallion on Barangay

15 : Kalawag in Sultan Kudarat. According to Commanding

16 : Officer Lieutenant Colonel Romel Valencia, the two NPA

17 : were not named for privacy purposes and was an alleged

18 : member of My Phone Platoon, East Daguma Front from

19 : Far South Mindanao Region and was leaded by Arthuro

20 : Arsigan alias “Macmac”. They too, surrendered their guns

21 : which were two (2) M1 Garand (Springfield) converted M14
