SUBJECT : GUIDANCE OF BLACK OUT TEST
ACCIDENT OF A/GRACE
1. Interval
: To be test Every 6 month (carry out test in port as possibility)
2. Precaution
: Arrange men in wheel house and engine room, and cut off power switch navigation
equip due to prevention of electric damage before black out test
3. Test method
1) Carry out actual black out test with cut ACB or NFB for power supply (Together
test RTS system only installed vessel)
2) Maintain recharging condition of motor operator at RTS test.
▷ Must be close ACB within 45 sec automatically after emergency G./E auto start.
(Refer to SOLAS CH.Ⅱ-1. REG.43.3 )
4. S/BY G/E start test
1) Test interval : 1 year (Carry out test together black out test, refer to P4E
MAINTENANCE & REPAIR M. PROCEDURE, APP.3 )
2) Test method
① Confirm s/by G/E start or not by make manual trip on operating G/E together
black out test.
② Carry out s/by start test all G/E.

power supply due to U.V.T Trip for E.G start.
system working at recovery - SOLAS rule: 45sec.
