“Alalay para sa ating Kabarangay Program '' project will be
centered on the essential life-support to be given in the
community health situations and needs. The medical and dental
practitioners with the help of other volunteer forces will provide
aid to improve health lives under privileged people in the
Barangay community who have limited or no access to the most
basic health and other necessities in living.
This project is a health building program that aims to help and provide the Barangay community with free
medical and dental screening as well as treatment. The operation of this project is community-based
wherein an effective and collaborative medical and dental mission will be applicable to all people in the
community. This program will be developed, delivered and evaluated through one whole day of
accomplishing the program with the goal of aiding and assisting the Barangay community who are in need.

In collaboration with Red Cross- Quezon, experts medical and dental practitioners the mission is indeed
successful. The Batangas State University student (proponent of the project) supervised by their NSTP
professor together with the professional aiders of Red Cross , practitioners, Barangay health worker,
Barangay Officials and SK Council their cooperatively sanction to make the flow of the activities will be
easily acquired by the Barangay community people. After the screening and treatment, the simulations to
follow up the result will be evaluated by the same group of people to give free medicine that the
practitioners reset as well as free sanitary kits as for tokens.

The plan of action shown in the table above is tentative and may or may not be subject to change, As some
unexpected circumstances may occur with regards to the implementation of the project, specifically the state of the
community, weather condition, availability of the attendants and missioners. If such unfavorable situations arise,
some adjustments will be applied either on the time of the project execution on orders of when the activities will be
executed.
The expenditures for the project “Alalay para sa ating Kabarangay Program” have been predetermined and have come up
to the estimate of Php 112, 000.00 to be allocated for medicines, sanitary kits, food & water, Red Cross practitioners fee,
Medical & Dental practitioners fee. Other expenses are also included from this rough estimation. Majority of the
expenses will be coming from sponsorship (e.g solicitation, government funding). If unexpected events persist such that
the expenses would tend to increase an extra Php 10,000.00 budget will be used as a backup, which will come from the
proponent’s pocket.
The Batangas State University student (proponent) will provide monitoring and evaluation tools. Teams and team
leaders will be assigned among the benefactors for the easier monitoring of progress. The evaluation plan includes the
information that will be collected throughout the project and as well as the indicators that will be used to evaluate this
information.

“Alalay para sa ating Kabarangay Program” aims to disseminate in providing assistance to those kabarangay
that are lack of finances to visit some private practitioners, this should benefit the community as a whole and
for the individuals gain as well especially for the below sectors people as the primary beneficiaries of the
project.

The whole barangay community will be the main determinant if the implementation of the project will be an
easy-flow process, as to why their participation is quite a vital part. They are the ones who will be repeatedly
subjected to different activities of the program, and mostly will be the focus of the monitoring and evaluating
operation. This monitoring and evaluation plan is made certain and effective to be assured about the
progression of the activities and the program itself. Additionally, during the last minutes of every treatment,
the actual simulations of the assurance and assistance the beneficiaries acquired, will certify that the goals of
the project are continuously being met.

In this project as well, sustenance of exerted efforts and precise finance budgeting are one of the
fundamental constituents to avoid unwanted circumstances to occur. As to why sponsors are to be gathered
promptly for a steady flow of funds for the program expenses. Communication with the barangay officials and
SK Council of Barangay Manggalang Tulo-Tulo Sariaya, Quezon is also relevant to render the objectives, plans,
and vision of the project, and to help gather the townspeople for the arrangement.
